"Rough day?"

Nick would have been startled by the voice, especially since it was now dark out and she was sitting on the cushioned bench on her roof, with her school books out... but instead of doing homework, the girl was obviously doodling. Plus, she knew who it was, since they had technically come from the side of the roof that only had tall buildings on it... and no fire escape.

The brunette scoffed, "How could you possibly know that, Spidey?"

The boy chuckled as he walked over to her, "I'm a good people reader."

Nick looked up at him, trying not to smile as she narrowed her eyes on him, watching as Spider-Man walked over to where she was sitting crisscrossed in shorts and a hoodie, her hair pulled into a messy braid that went down her back, with a few strands out - and her hair was still slightly wet from the shower she had to take once she got home. "Yeah, you were just really good at stitching me up." He said, and she bit her bottom lip as she watched him for a moment, before shaking her head with a smile. "You are New York's new superhero, what are you doing actually here? You should be out there stopping bad guys or whatever."

"I just.." He shrugged, not knowing how to tell her that he wanted to check on her because he knew exactly the kind of day she had. Nick didn't know that though, but she did notice his hesitance, so she shrugged it off with a shake of her head. "Nevermind. I'm glad you're here."
