Spending about a week in the hospital, Nick had been greeted once by Mark, then later on had some visitors from school. The story was that she had gotten this injured during the car accident, but even though Harry knew that that wasn't true, he didn't bring it up because, after all, she was in the hospital.

Peter came by nearly every day after school with her schoolwork to catch up on, and Ned came by to bring cookies and food from outside the hospital. And MJ came by sometimes before school.

Eventually though, she was able to leave, but took another week off school - allowing her to help set up the new Avengers Compound in Upstate New York. All of her injuries had practically healed up except for her shoulder, which had a few stitches in it and made it so her left arm had to be in a sling for at least another week. But she was fine with it.

Right now, Nick was in the car with Tony, her hair pulled into two French braids with a baseball cap on. She was in sneakers because, once again, her floral combat boots had gotten ruined - so Pepper promised to take her to get new ones soon. She also had on her two necklaces, the golden sun that rested on her collarbone, and the compass that still rested right above her stomach. She was in a lightweight dark blue long sleeve and still had her arm in a sling.

Tony had just taken her to her school to turn in all the late work she had missed and had finished in the hospital, while class was still going, which meant thankfully no one was outside to see who was in the bright orange sports car that was right outside.

It was a quick ten minute stop, with Nick having to get a pass from the office that allowed her to then go to each of her classes to turn in schoolwork, but that also meant that she had to tell Mrs. Kings that she hadn't done her essay yet, which made the teacher say that she was extending it to be turned in next Semester.

As she was walking down the hallway though, she once again ran into Peter while turning a corner. This time though, they didn't drop anything, and they didn't hit each other. In fact, Peter had caught her by her arms before they could smack into each other.

"Oh, uh, hi." Nick smiled at him, and Peter could feel his cheeks heat up with a blush as he held the large bathroom pass. "Hi - hi. How- uh, how are you feeling?"

"Good." The young brunette smiled with a nod, "I can come back to school on Monday. I was just here to turn in some things." Since it was a Thursday.

"Right." He nodded, casting his eyes down briefly, which made Nick realize something. And she tried to think back to when she was in the hospital, but the memory was still groggy. "You're not wearing your glasses anymore."

"Oh, uh, yeah. I - I just..." Peter began stumbling over his words, so Nick decided to give him a break and nodded. "Want to walk with me to my locker?"

His eyes lit up and he smiled, "Yeah. Sure."

As the two walked to her locker, they kept on talking. About anything that she had missed since the last time she saw him, to just random things going on in his life, and then Nick mentioned that she they should try to hangout tomorrow with Harry and Ned. Peter seemed to really like that idea, and then Nick asked about his and Ned's Star Wars movie marathon was going - which made him go on and on about it, which made her smile.
