After getting out of school, and having to explain to the teacher about why she was seen on the News after calling in sick, Nick finally got home. She went straight up to her room and dropped her bag on the floor, along with kicking off her floral combat boots and taking her blazer off and dropping it on the bed, her tie soon following.
Nick then took the glasses off as she took her hair out of it's side braid and brushed a hand through her messy curly hair, before heading downstairs as she untucked the white button up shirt and pulled the sleeves up. But right before she went down the second flight of stairs to go see Tony, Pepper Potts walked into the house.
"Uh oh, that's not a good face." Nick commented, Pepper just walking passed her with a shake of her head. "No, it's not."
"Wait, I wanna watch Starky get lectured." Nick quickly followed the strawberry blonde down the stairs.
"Miss Potts and Nicolette are approaching. I recommend that you inform them-" Nick could hear JARVIS saying, but Tony stopped the AI. "Mute." Right as they got down the stairs, making the girl confused, but she just shrugged it off.
Pepper types in a code on the new lock on the door, which each of Tony's people had their own password for. But because Tony knew she broke in those months ago, he said that she had to figure out the password he had given for her.
Obviously, she hadn't yet.
As they enter, Pepper was definitely upset. "Is this a joke? What are you thinking?"
Tony finishes off the disgusting looking green drink before answering. "Hey, I'm thinking I'm busy. And you're angry about something. Do you have the sniffles? I don't want to get sick."
"Oh, me neither." Nick stepped away from the woman, who sent the girl a small glare, before she turned to Tony. "Did you just donate our entire-"
"Keep your distance."
"-modern art collection to- to the-"
"Boy Scouts of America."
"-Boy Scouts of America?"
"Ooh, he's in trouble." Nick mumbled jokingly as she went over to DumE, since she acted as though Tony's little robot things were puppies or something.
"Yes. It is a worthwhile organization. I didn't physically check the crates but, basically, yes. And it's not our collection, it's my collection. No offense." Tony said, Nick watching them argue-is while they walked around the garage, as Pepper then adds. "No, you know what? I think I'm entitled to say our collection considering the time that I put in, over ten years, curating that."
"It's a tax white-off. I needed that." Tony turns to her, Pepper seeming stressed as she said. "You know, there's only about 8,011 things I really need to talk to you about."
