Obviously Nick didn't tell them what happened, but Charles helped set her up in one of the brand new homes that they had built that still needed a few things before the family was able to move in, while Mark went to tell his parents some excuse as to why he won't be sleeping where they were. In that time, Nick had taken a long hot shower, got changed into pajamas that they had found her, and Charles helped bandage her hands while also giving her a bowl of stew and a water bottle.

By the time it was time for bed, Nick was sleeping on the couch (since there wasn't a bed yet) and the two boys were in sleeping bags on the floor. Nick had managed to get about two hours of rest before she kept jerking awake from nightmares, causing her to eventually give up and carefully get up.

The girl changed back into her own clothes, which were washed and dried now, and pulled her boots back on. She pulled her hair into a quick side braid and pulled on the old camo baseball cap that must have been one of the boys', before she then grabbed a smaller white blanket, wrapping it around her shoulders and pulling it over her head while heading out of the house.

She kept her head down and began moving through Sokovia, making sure that no camera could catch her face, as she tried to look through the just opening street markets. It was nearing 5 in the morning by now and the sun hadn't even began rising yet, so Nick tried to think of any way that she could get into contact with the team without tipping off Ultron. Which meant that she needed something that didn't use the Internet.

Even after about twenty minutes of going through the market, Nick couldn't find anything useful. No laptops, phones - the only things she could find were maybe parts of radios, but they were useless without an actual radio.

By the time the sun was beginning to rise, Nick had eventually found a police car that was parked next to a building and after taking a quickly glance it, Nick saw that the officers were having breakfast. She nervously bit her bottom lip as she moved back over to the police car, glancing around before finding a thin piece of metal on the ground - allowing her to grab it and use it to put through the cracked open window of the car, and allowing her to break into the car.

Another hour later, Nick was set up in a construction zone near the house that the boys had brought her to, so that she could use some of the equipment. She was set up under a white tent that had no walls, so that if it snowed or rained, nothing would get ruined. She had an old scarf that she had found, wrapped around her neck and tied, allowing her to pull it over the bottom of her face as she worked on trying to get the police radio working again.

"Should I even ask what this is?" Mark made himself known as he moved over to the girl, who was standing at a makeshift table desk that was made of plywood on top a couple blocks of cement. Nick didn't even look up at him as she shook her head, "Nope. Thanks for saving my life yesterday, but I'm good now. You can go."
