After getting back to the house and helping Tony set up the model in the lab, Nick went to go work on her project at the desk, but found herself not being able to focus as she was more interested in what Tony was doing.
"JARVIS, could you kindly Vac-U-Form a digital wire frame? I need a manipulative projection." Tony said and Nick watched as a blue light scans over the model, and once it was done, JARVIS spoke. "1974 Stark Expo model scan complete, sir."
Tony lifts the projection up, "Uh, how many buildings are there?" He brings it around and carries it over a little ways.
"Am I to include the Belgium waffle stands?" JARVIS asks and Nick snickers a bit, before her stomach growled. "Dang, now I want waffles."
"That was rhetorical. Just show me." Tony says to the AI, and as that happens, Tony glanced at the girl. "After this, I can show you how to make waffles."
Nick scoffed, "After what you made on the plane, no. I'll show you how to make waffles."
"You know how to make waffles?" Tony raised an eyebrow, but Nick just shrugged. "There's such thing as YouTube."
The model spins before turning upright, and Nick immediately stood up, eyebrows furrowing as Tony glanced to her. "What does that look like to you, Bambi?"
"Not unlike an atom." She walked over to stand next to him, the projection making some sense to her. "In which case, the nucleus would be here."
Tony watched her with a ghost of a smile on his lips and a nod, so she pointed at the nucleus, her finger touching the projection as Tony then tells JARVIS. "Highlight the unisphere."
It does and Tony shows Nick what to do next, basically enlarging the nucleus, and once she did that and dropped her hands, Tony looked at it. "Lose the footpaths. Get rid of them." He swipes them away.
"What is it you're trying to achieve, sir?"
"I'm discovering- uh, correction. We're rediscovering a... new element, I believe." Tony states, Nick's eyebrows shooting up in surprise as she glanced to him, then back at the projection. She looked over it, her mind seeming to understand this way more than anything she did in school, before saying. "JAR, lose the landscaping, shrubbery, and trees." She swiped the things away as she listed them, already getting a hang of this. "And the parking lots, exits, and entrances."
