After Harley did everything that Tony had listed out, Tony then had to stitch up Nick's leg before putting a real bandage on it, then after he checked out all of her other injuries, she checked on all of his.

Before they then had to leave, which did include stopping at a store to pick up Nick a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt with a black sweater over it, which she changed into and threw away her ruined shirt and skirt. But she kept her socks on and pulled the boots back on, before she then pulled on the winter flannel jacket Harley was letting her use, which was a bit big on her, as he then put the letterman jacket in the washer.

Nick, who had also washed her hair in a sink at the house, put her hair into a braid and pulled on the hat and gloves he also let her use.

"The sandwich was fair, the spring was a little rusty, the rest of the materials, I'll make due." Tony was saying as they walked down the street, him also wearing a new outfit, which included a baseball cap to hide his face. He also made made sure that Nick's maroon baseball hat also kept her face hidden, since he didn't want either of them to get spotted in town.

"By the way, when you said your sister had a watch, I was kind of hoping for something a little more adult than that." Tony lifted up his sleeve to show the Dora watch, which caused Nick to smile as Harley laughed. "She's six. Anyway, it's limited edition."

"Which means you have to be careful." Nick added in, nudging Tony teasingly, which he just rolled his eyes at. But then Harley asks, "When can we talk about New York?"

"Maybe never. Relax about it." Tony shot down, noticing how Nick became quiet almost immediately. But Harley didn't notice. "What about the Avengers? Can we talk about them?"

"I don't know. Later." Tony said, before moving to give at least an arms length of room between him and Harley. "Hey, kid, give me a little space."

Nick looked up as they made it to the place that they had read about, where the suicide bomber had happened. Nick slowly stepped forward, her lips tugging into a frown as she looked over the crosses and candles around the two walls that were the only thing left of the building. But then her eyes landed on the shadows scorched into the walls, and her heart jumped at the thought that this could have happened to Happy.

"What's the official story here?" Tony asked as they walked closer to it, "What happened?"

"I guess this guy named Chad Davis, used to live roundabouts." Harley said, before kneeling down in front of one of the candles and crosses. "He won a bunch of medals in the army. And one day, folks said he went crazy and made, you know, a bomb. Then he blew himself up, right here."

Nick was stood next to Harley, but she watched as Tony moved around, touching one of the burn marks. Then he moved. "Six people died, right?"

"Yeah." Harley nodded, and Tony glanced at him. "Including Chad Davis."
