Nick was sitting in class, working on the list of certain ideas she could actually put in her essay, but it was actually harder than it looked. Everyone was working on their projects in silence as the teacher had the News playing on more for background noise, and she was struggling with her assignment more than she originally thought she would. She wasn't sure exactly why, maybe because about 24 hours ago she had been in a life threatening situation. Maybe it was because all morning she hadn't seen Tony before she had to head to school, and she was worried about whatever seemed to be weighing on him.

He wasn't really acting like himself, and she was just realizing this. Apparently the risky things he'd been doing recently weren't his usual amount of risky stupid things he do. The race, for example. He obviously hadn't known that some maniac would try to kill him, but getting into the race car was a dangerous thing in itself.

Nick dropped her pencil and put her head in her hands. Not only was she worried about Tony, she now had to try to fully wrap her mind about the fact that she actually has... abilities? Powers? Special skills?... she didn't know what the hell to call what she could do.

Also, Nick liked being invisible... but after what had happened at the Senate, she suddenly was known and noticed.

And because of everything that happened, Nick forgot her glasses at home, as well as her tie. Thankfully the tie wasn't a thing a student would get into trouble for not wearing, but after having to wear glasses for certain things and getting used to it, it was now even harder for her to focus.

It also didn't help that her nightmares were back.

To sum everything up, Nick was more distracted than usual.

And just to add onto that, the channel got changed to a different News station by Mrs. Moroles, and suddenly the News Anchor was saying, "And now for what everyone is still buzzing about, the events that had occurred in Monaco this past weekend. The Grand Prix definitely had a bigger attraction this year."

Nick had looked up from her paper, as did most the students, and the teacher, who apparently hadn't heard of this yet and was curious about what could've possibly gone on at the Grand Prix.

"First, the billionaire Tony Stark had shocked everyone by racing his own car, but not even halfway through the race, there was an attack." The News then cut to clips of what the Europe News camera had caught, and Nick already felt herself sinking in her seat as it showed Tony's car get flipped. Then you could barely see the clip of someone running to him, thankfully it wasn't even a second long, so no one could see it was her.

But before Nick was allowed to let out a relieved breath, the News suddenly said. "And not only was Tony Stark fighting, but the very popular and beloved little girl that had charmed everyone at the Senate.." It showed a picture some reporter had taken of her standing on top the chair in a room full of adults, and some of the students in the classroom looked over at the girl, immediately recognizing their classmate (since it wasn't often 10-year-olds actually watched the News, it was new information to all the students in this class).
