How is everyone doing?

Well, I am back from visiting North America and I honestly had a blast. I have visited so many places and my God, have eaten so much food.

But now it is time to get back to work again. So, as promised. Here is a new chapter.

"Look over there."- Shawn says as he points into the distance. "It's a deer."

It's the sixth day of us being here. Being away from it all, is really helpful to me. I really needed it. We needed it. We have been completely off the radar. No phone, no laptops, no social media, nothing. Just us. Trying our best to move past the whole situation.

And to be honest, I don't know if we would have survived if we didn't had took the time off. We were on the verge of losing each other. We were both so overfilled with emotions and we didn't know how to express them. Especially not to each other. We both kept everything locked up inside and that was starting to come in between us. But slowly but surely, it starts to feel normal again. Our relationship starts to feel normal again. I start to feel normal again and that is mainly because of Shawn. He just didn't gave up on me. On us.

We talked and talked and even though, the conversation weren't always nice or easy, it helped us. The things needed to be said in order for us to move past it. We didn't forget it or trying to forget it but it needed to have a place and luckily, it feels like it somewhat did.

"Where?." Because of the thick layer of snow, it's hard to see in the distance.

"Exactly in between those two trees." A quick movement attracts my attention as the deer flees away because of the sound of our voices.

"We scared him." I say a little disappointed.

"Don't worry babe. I am sure that we will get the opportunity to see other animals as well." He squeezes my hand as we walk through the forest hand in hand.

I look up to him and shake my head in amusement. He is so happy today. It's good to see him like this again.

"What?." He laughs as he keeps his eyes on me, not paying any attention to the road in front of us.

"Nothing. Just happy to see you like this."

"Like what?."

"I don't know. The sparkle is back in your eyes." Today is the first day ever since the hospital that I see it again and I cannot tell you how happy that makes me.

"I am happy." He states simply. "What about you?."

Am I happy? Well, I don't know about that. I am absolutely feel 100% better then I felt only a week ago but am I back to where I was before? No. Not yet. Getting there though.

"I am happy to be here with you." That is not a lie. I don't know how I would have come out of this if it wasn't for Shawn. He has been my rock these past weeks. He was there for me and didn't gave up on me, when I gave him every reason to do so. "But then again, it doesn't matter where I am on this planet. Everywhere feels like home when I am with you."

His eyes begin to sparkle even more. If it was dark outside now, his eyes only would have light up the entire sky.

"You are everything to me, Rose. You are..."- his heartfelt confession is rudely interrupt as he trips over a wooden stump, loses his balance and falls down, taking me along in the process.
