Spreading like wildfire

"Are you really going to wear it." I am hanging with Anna today. It had been a while since the last time we properly chilled together. Nowadays, our guys are always around us. But today I woke up and I really had the urge to see my best friend. So, I called her up and asked her about her plans for today. She actually had to work today but when she called Luca and told him about our plans, he of course gave her the day off. As long as we were going to pick him up for lunch later.

Anna arrived at my house around 10. Just in time to workout with me and my personal trainer. I can tell you, she was delighted to join. Jokes, of course. Anna has a serious passion for anything that is related to exercising. But like the best friend I am, I forced her to join me. If I have to suffer, ain't no chance in hell that she was going to sit at the sidelines watching me.

Shawn and I have the Vogue cover coming up. I haven't seen their vision board yet for the shoot but there is a chance that they say that we need to go in our underwear. Came you imagine me on the cover of Vogue with belly rolls? No no. Not going to happen either. After Christmas I kind of kept the bad eating habits but since a couple of days, I have joined Shawn's die hard diet. The first days of a new diet are always the hardest. I really hope that nobody is planning on annoying me today because I can feel the crazy bitch hormones raging through my body. But well, moving on. Where was I? O yeah.

"Where what?." What is she talking about? I am not wearing anything special. Just some pants, a crop top and a oversized jean jacket.

I wait for Anna to take a seat in the passenger spot and hand her Lou. Lou has really become my shadow. Wherever I go, she goes.

"Your ring."- she nods to the huge diamond ring that is shining on my finger. "If you want to keep your engagement on the low, that is not the way to do it."

"Just because we haven't made an official statement yet, that doesn't mean that I have to hide it." I say as I close the door. I mean, the ring is too beautiful to hide. And I do not see a reason why I should hide it. We don't have to share everything with the world right away, right?

I walk around the car. "I do not mean that you should hide it but you know that once we drive out of these gates, people will notice. By tonight you two will be yet again the most rumored couple out there." Anna says as soon as I open the door and sit behind the steering.

"Aren't we always." That's nothing new. I curse underneath my breath as I notice that all the mirrors in my car and my seat itself have been changed. How many times do I have to tell Shawn that when he drives my car, he shouldn't change all of my settings. It annoys me enormously. Especially because the guy has so many cars himself. Why does he feel the need to use mine?

"I know. Just be ready for when that storm will..."- Anna continues but stops in the middle of her sentence, while I am too busy putting back the adjustment Shawn has done. "Who is that?." She says, automatically grabbing my attention.

I look up and see a woman walking over our driveway, towards us.

"Do you know her?." Anna says as she tries to keep Lou in check. Lou is really sensitive. She somehow knows when I know someone and she doesn't have to be protective. But boy, when she feels I do not know someone, that little firecracker is like a pitbull.

"I have no idea." I mumble as I step out of my car. Only one way to find out.

"Hey neighbor." A tall, beautiful blond headed woman says with a wide smile on her face. She almost look like on of my Barbies I used to play with when I was young.

O God. She is the new neighbor who just moved in.

"O that's you!."- I return her smile as I close the door, trying to suppress Lou's barking. "I saw the moving trucks."
