One moment you are sitting on your ass in the peaceful environment of the beautiful nature of Cape town and the next moment you are back in the hectic of LA.

And when I say hectic, I mean hectic. For a reason that is unknown to me, the word has gone around that we are back in LA. It started when we left the private excite of LAX, where all the private jets land. Until the moment I actually used this excite, I didn't even knew that it excised. It is so secured and hide away from the rest of the airport, that you actually have to wait there if you want to spot someone. There were only a few paparazzi standing there when we left in the car that picked us up but now, as we are driving through the traffic to our home, I have spotted at least 8 cars that I am sure are paparazzi. I mean, it is not that they are trying to stay anonymus.

I feel my hand taken. I turn my head to meet Shawn's brown ones. Without speaking a word, I know exactly what he thinks. He squeezes my hand, followed by a close mouthed smile.

And just like that, it feels like we have never felt.

A soft sigh leaves my mouth as the car stops in front of our home. Home. Home sweet home. The house that I love so much.

I open the door and try to get out of the backseat of the car. It is getting harder to move around. In the last two weeks it feels like my belly has expanded twice the size. I am almost 35 weeks. 5 more weeks and our son is going to be here. That is just as much nerve racking as it is exciting. Especially because we still have so much left to do before he can make his entrance. For example, we still do not have a baby room yet. And does he has enough clothes? Do we need more bottles? And what about teat? How do other first time moms this?

"Let me help you baby." Like the knight in shining armor he is, my husband is at my side of the car within seconds, helping me.

"Thank you. I cannot wait until I have my body back and can move freely around."

"I like you pregnant." He admits while he helps me out of the car.

"We are going to end up with 10 kids, aren't we."

"Your luggage will be brought inside, Mr and Mrs Mendes." The driver interrupts our conversation. Mrs Mendes... I still like the sound of that. It has a nice ring to it.

"Thank you so much." My husband is so polite. It is such a good quality to have. Hand in hand we begin our walk up our driveway. "But 10 kids? We definitely have to move if we want so many." Although our house is huge, it cannot fit 10 kids.

"Let's first see how this labor is going before we are thinking about more." If it is horrible, my son will be an only child. No doubt.

A low chuckle leaves my husband's mouth.
"Are you excited to see Lils and Lou?."

"O yeah! I totally forgot that they were going to be here already." Preggo brain. Forgive me. "The house looks still fine, so that's a good sign."

"Of course. I have send Lily on a mission so she barely has spend any time at our house without us being here." He says with a proud smile on his face.

"That's smart."- he is definitely proud of himself for coming up with that. "But hold up. What kind of mission are you talking about?." And why do I not know anything about that?

He looks down at me and smile. "You will see."

I narrow my eyes at him. What is he up to?

"Don't give me that look babe. You will like the surprise."

"I hate surprises." I mutter. He should know that by now. I hate to give up control and not know what is going on.
