Hi loves,

First of all, I want to thank you all for the amazing responses to the book! You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

I have read many comments from people who ask me what my upload schedule is. The answer is very simple: I don't have one. 😜 I write when I have the time and only publish a chapter when I think it is good enough.

I write this book next to my medical study so, as you can imagine my study is (very) demanding! Some days I don't even have time to look at my phone, nonetheless the time to write!

So, my question for you guys is; would it better if I upload the chapters at 1 or 2 moments in the week?

Anyway, here's a new chapter!

Enjoy your weekend!

Xoxo, M.

"What are you doing?." Anna asks as I as usual run through the house to collect my stuff. I swear, I was never the girl who was late. Not even a bit. When I was working for Andrew, I was always the one who arrived first but ever since my whole life is changed, so has my character. I have no idea why that is but I can tell you, it drives me insane.

"Looking for a contract." O yeah, another thing, my stuff seem to disappear right in front of my eyes. I swear, or Anna constantly moves things around or I have some serious brain issues but I am always searching for stuff. If you will count how many hours a week I spend on searching, it will probably be as much hours as a full time job. I need to hire a maid. Preferably one with OCD. That would make my life so much easier.

"What contract?." Anna says as she gets up from the couch and follows me behind. I don't know why she thinks that is a good idea? But she is really in my way.

"A contract Scott has send me to look over." Well, he actually has give me multiple contracts. He suddenly thought that it was a good idea that I look through the contracts. Please read that every contract is about 30 pages long. And I already know your next question. No, I haven't read them. Did I quickly scanned through the contracts and will pretend that I know all the details? Absolutely. I hope my acting skills are good enough to fool him.

"What are you doing?." I ask a bit curious as Anna lift up some stuff, looking for the contract as well. Don't get me wrong, it's sweet that she wants to help but firstly, she has absolutely no idea what kind of contact she is looking for and secondly, this is the first time that she helps me searching voluntarily. Normally, I have to threaten her that I am going to deport her back to Holland if she wouldn't help me but now that she helps me without me saying one word to her... yeah, that shit is suspicious.

"Looking for that damn contract of yours!." She says, like it's the most obvious thing ever.

I brush it off and continue my search. Whatever, it's not like I have actually the time to question her motives. How angry is Scott going to be if I don't bring the contract along with me? Mental note: I also have to find a marker and highlight some parts. (If I will ever find the contract). That way it will look like I have actually done something. Sometimes I amaze myself with how clever I am. Really.

After 10 minutes, there is still no sight of those damn papers. On this point, frustration is not even the right word anymore to describe how I feel. So, I just give it up.

"Who knew that this apartment was so big." Anna sits down and exhale loudly.

"Just let them be. I really have to go and meet Scott. He is going to murder me if I am not going to show up within the next half a hour." I grab my bag and cram everything inside.
