"Because you are still early on in your pregnancy, I think the only way to see if you are indeed pregnant is to use a transvaginal probe." This is the part I have been dreading. I have done some research online to see what I could have expected during the first ultrasound and this what came up. "So, if you can please undo your pants."

I nod my head as I look anywhere but at her. I understand that she probably have seen millions of coochies but still. It is awkward as fuck.

"Why does she has to take off her pants?." Shawn asks confused. Please Shawn, shut up. Just keep your mouth shut and sit on the chair. It is already fucking uncomfortable as it is.

"Well, since she is in the early stages of pregnancy, the fetus is deep in her pelvis. Sound waves don't pass through bones. So, we have to look from the inside."

Without saying anything, I take off my pants and panties. I neatly fold them and place them on the chair I was sitting.

"Okay."- Ebony turns around with the probe in her hand. My eyes widen as I see the size of the thing. I am afraid that it will come out at the other end. "Are you ready?."

I swear I can hear Shawn mumble "Holy shit". But I am not sure. I am way too focused on that huge 'dildo' that is going to rip me in 2 pieces.

Just focus yourself on the television, Rose. I remind myself.

On the television I can basically only see gray, black and whites 'things'. I have no clue to actually explain what I see.

Suddenly there is a black empty space. "This is your uterus." Ah that is what it is. "Do you see that little gray dot?."

I nod my head as I indeed see a small little dot in the middle of what apparently is my uterus.

"Well, congratulations. That is your baby."

Shawn squeezes my hand tightly. I quickly look away from the screen to Shawn. He is staring at the screen with intense eyes.

"Do you see that little flicker? That is the baby's heartbeat."

O my God. My body flows over with love for something that is so little. It is a feeling I can not even describe.

"Lets see if we can already pick it up." Ebony says and clicks on the screen.
