"Yeah, Shawn didn't liked it too much." I joke as I am having a catch up moment with Jacky, my makeup artist as she is preparing my face to appear on live television.

"Why not?." It is so good to see her again. Over the past couple of months I barely have got out of the house, let alone do something on television. So, there wasn't a need for Jacky to do my makeup but now that I have an appearance at the Ellen Show, it was the perfect moment to give Jacky a call.

"Because I am almost 39 weeks pregnant and he is afraid my water will break on live television." He has a point. Our child can make his appearance at every second now. I am past the mark where it is face for him to arrive so it would surprise me that he will arrive will broadcasted on television, considering what his parents do.

"Yes, he basically forced me to go with Rose otherwise he would kick me out of the house."- O yeah, my sister came along with me. Scott had a dinner planned with Helena since this appearance on the Ellen show was a last minute thing, Shawn had a meeting about his upcoming tour and couldn't reschedule so, the only person who was free to go along with me was my sister. Now I don't know if Lily would be any help if my water indeed but hey, it is something. "He is starting to get on my nerves."

Jacky laughs while I roll my eyes at her. He is getting on my nerves as well but it is not like I cannot blame him. Becoming a first time mom is heavy but I already have spend 9 months bonding with our baby but Shawn as he becomes a first time father, with barely any experience with kids... yeah, he is freaking out.

"You better keep your mouth shut if you still want things from us... like a car." I look at her from the corner of my eye, as I cannot help but to smirk. I have found a way to handle and control my sister. Just warn her that if she doesn't behave correctly, she will not get shit from me. I have decided that I am definitely going to buy her a car, not because she deserves it but it is more for my own mental health because if I will find another condom wrapper in my car, I might lose it completely.

She looks up from her phone to me with the nastiest look on her face. I raise my eyebrow hoping she will finally snap but unfortunately, she shake her head and back down like a little bitch. It is so nice to be the older sister. She cannot say shit.

Every time I have to make an appearance on live television, right before I am getting announced as I am standing backstage, I am rethinking my life. Why do I thought that it was a good idea to a live television show while being 38 weeks and 6 days pregnant? We all remember the pictures of Kim K when she was pregnant with North at the Met ball. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. Probably the most beautiful proces a woman can go through but with pregnancy also come a few discomforts like weight gain, bloated body parts, out of breath because the baby is pushing against your lungs all the time, and that is fine but to make an appearance in public, let alone national television wasn't one of my best decisions, I have to admit.

Also another sadistic thing they have done is putting a mirror backstage. Normally I wouldn't mind but now, I feel like a whale as I look into the mirror. Not really the ego boost I need right now. I have chosen to dress in all black. Black, slim fitted dress and a hat. They say black makes you look less fat, right? Well, I hope that whoever said that is right.

"Almost show time, Rose." The producer of the show says as he taps on my shoulder to get my attention.

O Lord... I am going to have a panic attack.

"Okay, it is time to talk about the biggest story of 2022. Rose and Shawn are having a baby." Ellen voice echoes through the studio. At the mention of my and Shawn's names the crowd goes wild. Nobody knew that I was going to make an appearance on the show today. Like I said, it was kind of a last minute decision. One I regret badly now. "After a few months of stepping out of the spotlights and taking some time to enjoy this special time, it is my pleasure to introduce my next guest; Rose Williams."
