Friendship to Love (Life is strange fanfiction)

Begining TDR

 Chloe and Rachel were on their way to Blackwell, "Are you ready for your last day of the photography program?"

"Yes, I'm ready for it to be over, but we did get a lot of information this summer."

"We did.". When they got there Chloe went to hide behind the classroom window, and 5 minutes later Rachel walked into Mr.Jefferson's class.

Once everyone was there Mr.Jefferson started to talk "Hey guys since it's the last day of this program I'm going to let you do what you did on the first day, I'm not giving you guys anything to focus on for today, just take pictures of whatever you want. At the end, we will compare them to the pictures you took on the first day to see how you improved.". As everyone left the classroom Mr.Jefferson saw Nathan, Kate and Rachel leave together, and he didn't even force them to, which meant his plan was working.

Mr.Jefferson didn't feel bad about what he was going to make Nathan do, he was helping Nathan by giving him good grades. He hadn't planned for Nathan, Rachel and Kate to actually become friends but when it happened he realized it made things easier, a little trauma for Nathan wouldn't be the end of the world, it builds character.

After everyone left Mr.Jefferson's phone rang, Chloe started a voice recording "Hello."

*muffled voice*

"Yes, I did go to the barn yesterday.". This took Chloe by surprise, she hadn't expected Mr.Jefferson to just pick a barn and not leave a hint of what barn he picked.

*muffled voice*

"Ya they did start, they haven't built anything yet, they just dug everything out.".

*muffled voice*

"Yes Sean of course I want this to be built quickly so Nathan can start using it this year, and that's the plan, he should be able to use it starting December.".

*muffled voice*

"I know unfortunately we will just have to be patient."

*muffled voice*

"You have a good day, goodbye." Mr.Jefferson said and hung up the phone. Chloe was hoping that if she and Rachel played the recording loud enough they would be able to hear what the other person was saying.

Once everyone finished their lunch they were all ready to go outside but Mr.Jefferson decided to make it look like he was going to teach everyone something. He put a slideshow of everyone's pictures from the day, and talked about how everyone improved. By the time he was done, there was an hour before everyone would leave so he let them all hang out in the classroom.

At 4:10 Rachel and Chloe met at their meeting spot. "It's over!" Rachel said when she saw Chloe. "Rachel, he is starting to build TDR. I have the voice recording from his phone call but I couldn't hear the other person, I was thinking if we make the volume really loud we might be able to hear them. "

"Ok let's do that, but we should probably drive further away from the school so Mr.Jefferson doesn't hear his voice."

"Let's go.". Chloe drove to the Junkyard.

Chloe and Rachel walked around the Junkyard 3 times to make sure nobody else was there. They then put Chloe's phone on max volume and played the recording, they heard Mr.Jefferson's voice really loud say "Hello.", but they still couldn't hear the other side of the conversation.

Chloe and Rachel still listened to the rest of the recording so Rachel was as up to date as Chloe. After the recording finished Rachel said: "Good news for us, we have until December to find out everything we need to know about TDR." Chloe said.

"Ya, but what are going to do, we looked through his classroom, we don't know what barn he picked and we have no idea where he lives, and if we did know where he lives we don't know if he has security cameras, or if he has a scary dog. Where else can we look for evidence?".

The first thought that came to Rachel's mind was Frank, but she knew Frank didn't trust her enough to tell her anything else about Mr.Jefferson. She also didn't want to tell Chloe that she had been hanging out with Frank without telling her. So instead Rachel said: "I don't know, I guess we could see if Nathan gives anything away."

"I guess we don't really have any other options right now." Chloe said.
