Friendship to Love (Life is strange fanfiction)

The Plan

"What happened?", Rachel asked

"Umm, so it was one big room." Nathan responded

"And", Rachel asked, pushing for more information.

"He said I would work on taking pictures of people."

"That's it?"

"Ya."

"Ok, well then where is the barn?"

"I don't remember."

"You don't even know what area it was in." Rachel said not believing Nathan.

"No, I fell asleep in the car.".

"Nathan I know you are in trouble, and can't tell me what's actually happening, but don't worry I will find a way to help you.". Rachel said, and started to walk away.

It didn't seem like it, but Rachel had learned something very big from that conversation, she and Chloe had one part of the puzzle, and Nathan had the other part. Rachel called Chloe, when Chloe picked up Rachel said: "We need to find out what Nathan knows."

"Hi to you too." Chloe responded.

"Chloe this is serious, Nathan knows what we don't, if we find out what he knows we might be able to stop Mr.Jefferson from doing whatever he's planning on doing in TDR."

"How do you know Nathan isn't lying to you?"

"That's exactly my point, whenever I ask him about it he lies to me, which means Mr.Jefferson is doing something that Nathan can't talk about."

"Ok, but how would we get Nathan to talk?"

"We tell him what we know."

"And what if he goes to Mr.Jefferson, and tells him everything we know?"

"He won't."

"How do you know that?"

"Because he can't tell us anything because he's afraid of Mr.Jefferson, but if we tell him what we know that can't get him in trouble."

"You just contradicted yourself."

"What?" Rachel said surprised.

"You said the point of telling him what we know is so he will tell us what he knows, but then you said he can't tell us what he knows, meaning there is no point in telling him what we know."

"Oh, well maybe he can use the stuff we know to come up with a plan."

"Ok, but can we talk this through a little more before you tell Nathan anything."

"Sure."

"Bye."

"Bye." Rachel said, hanging up.

After school was over Chloe picked Rachel up and they drove to the Junkyard to talk some more about their plan. Once they were in the little hut in the Junkyard they started to talk about their plan. "Rachel there are so many things that could go wrong, first of all it would have to be you telling Nathan the plan, because he doesn't know I'm involved, meaning I wouldn't be there if something went wrong. Second, what if you tell Nathan everything we know and it stresses him out more, or he can't come up with a plan, or he tells Mr.Jefferson everything. Third are you planning on telling him everything, including the part where we broke into his classroom, spied on him, are you planning on telling him about that website we found called the dirt on Mark Jefferson. Which leads to even more questions, Frank obviously knows something we don't, maybe it's Frank we need to be convincing to talk. Maybe Nathan doesn't know the right stuff, and Frank knows. Which leads us to the question: are you going to tell Nathan about Frank? There are so many factors in this, I understand if you want to tell him some stuff, but I think it would be too much to tell him everything."

"I think we should tell him about the photography sessions with Kate, and that we found screenshots from the security camera footage of Kate and I."

"And let him know we broke into his classroom, and spied on him?"

"That's true, if Mr.Jefferson were to find out about that somehow, it would not end well. What if I tell him about that website The Dirt on Mark Jefferson, that way he knows Frank knows something we don't which means he can go question Frank if he wants to. Mr.Jefferson already knows that he creeps me out so if he found out that I googled him, and found that website it's not the end of the world."

"You're right, I think that's a good idea." Chloe responded.

The next morning Rachel woke up and got ready for school. She tried to figure out how to tell Nathan about the website. She wasn't sure if she should tell him to google Mr.Jefferson, or if she should tell him to google The Dirt on Mark Jefferson. She figured it would be easier to tell him to google The Dirt on Mark Jefferson, that way it would be easier for Nathan to find.

When Rachel got to school she looked for Nathan when she found him he said: "Rachel I need to talk to you.". This worried Rachel, though maybe she wouldn't have to tell Nathan anything and he would tell her everything. Once they were behind the school Nathan said: "The TV, it told me to tell you everything.".
