When Kate woke up her head was pounding, and her memory of last night ended right after she took a sip of Nathan's drink. Kate checked her phone to see multiple texts from Rachel.

Rachel: Where did you guys go?

Rachel: Are you still with Nathan?

Rachel: Chloe and I can't find either of you anywhere

Rachel: Did you guys leave?

Rachel: I texted Nathan and he isn't responding either

Rachel: Are you ok?

Rachel: Kate can you please respond I'm getting worried

Rachel: (video link)

Rachel: When did this happen, it couldn't have been in the 5 minutes Chloe and I were gone, and we looked everywhere for you

Kate watched the video, and after finishing it she thought to herself, there is no way that happened. I didn't even have anything to drink that night either then that one sip of Nathan's drink. Where is Nathan, did he really just leave me at the party all alone. I can't believe this. What happened last night, and why can't I remember anything? Needless to say, Kate had a lot of questions.

Kate saw a bunch of missed calls from Rachel and listened to the voice mails. "Hey Kate where are you guys? Neither of you are answering my texts, call me back when you get this I just want to make sure you guys are ok.". Kate listened to the next one. "Kate I'm worried about you and Nathan, Chloe and I have looked everywhere for you guys, where are you ar-" Rachel was interrupted by Chloe

"If Prescott did something to you Kate, he will pay." Then Rachel said:

"Chloe, he would never do something like that. Anyway, I just want to know that you're ok." Kate listened to the last one "I saw the video, when did that happen? It couldn't have been in the 5 minutes Chloe and I were gone, and we would have seen it happening, we looked for you for an hour. Don't worry Kate I reported the video to get it taken down, hopefully it will be gone soon."

Kate watched the video over and over while wiping tears from her eyes. Eventually, she started to get ready for class, as much as she didn't want to go she knew things would only be worse if she didn't go. The video would probably be taken down soon anyway, and everything would be fine. Also, Kate had a few questions for Nathan, like where he was and why he left her alone.

When Kate got to her locker she saw Rachel "Kate!" Rachel said, wrapping her in a hug. "What happened after Chloe and I left, where did you guys go?"

"I don't know, my last memory of last night was you and Chloe going outside to get air, then I was talking to Nathan about how his water tasted really bad and I can't remember anything after that.". Rachel's face got serious and she said:

"Nathan what?!"

"I took a sip of his flavoured water, it tasted terrible and I have no memory of what happened after that."

"Nathan drugged you!" Rachel said in disbelief and anger.

"Nathan wouldn't do that."

"Well, he just did." Rachel said, walking away angrily.

As Kate was walking to her classes people in the hall were saying things like "Innocent little Kate isn't so innocent anymore." "Looked like a fun night you had last night Kate." "Encore." "Slut." "Didn't know you had that in you Kate.".

At lunch, Kate finally found Nathan "Can I talk to you?" she said, showing no emotion. They walked behind the school so nobody could hear them. "What happened last night?" Kate asked.

"I was getting tired, and you said you wanted to stay. I left and you stayed. After that I have no idea, I wasn't there anymore."

"Well do you want to explain the flavoured water?" Kate said not believing a word Nathan said. "It was flavoured water." Nathan lied.

"No it wasn't Nathan. Also, I wouldn't have stayed at that party alone, if you left I would have left too, so don't lie to me, what happened last night?"

"I told you the truth, I was tired, I left, you didn't."

"Nathan I don't hang out with people who lie to me, so you have one last chance to tell me the truth, to let me know I wasn't friends with some asshole for the past year." Nathan looked like he was about to cry, but Kate didn't care, he deserved it.

"I promise you, I'm telling the truth. I got tired and left, you stayed."

"Goodbye Nathan." Kate said walking away.

Kate was surprised about how she handled that, Kate rarely called someone out when they lied to her, and she rarely stood up for herself. It felt good though, to say what she was really thinking. It felt good to not be a pushover, and not take the blame for something that wasn't her fault.

Kate went back to her room, she didn't care that she had 3 more classes left. Kate couldn't believe that Nathan had done that. For all that time Kate had been friends with Nathan she never saw this new side of him. Kate should have seen it coming though because when they had first met Nathan was mean to her. They only became friends when they were forced to work together in the photography camp thing. Kate had made a mistake becoming friends with Nathan, and it was probably the worst mistake she made in her life.
