Jisung
"No! No!" I dropped to my knees, hugging myself.
"Jisung—I-I-promise! I'm just as shocked as you are!" Minho dropped down next to me, placing a gentle hand on my back.
"No! No! No!" I swatted his hand away.
I could only shout that word.
That's it.
My mind was shutting down.
I may be acting a little dramatic but. . . how is this possible?
He's like two different people. . .
"Jisung—uh—I'll prove it to you!" He stammered.
He was desperate to get me to stop crying, that's for sure.
"P-Prove it!" I hiccuped.
Minho scrambled for his phone, showing me something in the message bar.
It was a face.
' 8D '
I choked out a laugh.
"I hate that face." I mumbled.
"I know you do." He placed a hand in my hair. "Please, look at me. Hannie."
I flinched, but a big smile began tugging at the corners of my mouth.
"My nickname." I smiled, looking up at him.
He nodded.
"So I guess M is short for Minho?" I tilted my head in question.
"Yeah." He chuckled.
"Pretty lame. Mine was better." I laughed quietly, sniffing.
Minho stiffened, lifting my chin.
"Please don't cry." He smiled softly, wiping my tears. "I'm here now. You could tell me what happened if you want."
I stiffened a little.
"But, what about you? You where crying too." I noticed his swollen eyes and red nose.
"Don't worry about me. You sounded like you needed my help more. So I'm here."
I caved, sighing.
"It's a bit awkward now actually." I rubbed my eyes.
"How so?" He sat down correctly, his feet inches away from mine.
"It's about hyunjin." I whispered.
Minho noticeably tensed.
"Remember how he told me he liked me? Yesterday?" I asked, fiddling with my tie.
"Yes." Minho grumbled.
"He talked to me this morning." I started. "And he said I smelled like vanilla. He kept talking about someone."
I heard Minho's breath hitch.
I took a second to think about it.
Vanilla.
Vanilla.
I gasped, sitting up.
"No, he wasn't talking about just anyone. He was talking about you." I looked Minho dead in the eyes. "He said you marked me!"
