KIAN’S POV……. 

There’s no storm signal in the National Capital Region. Also, no heavy rains, but the blow of wind were strong that time.

And in deep shit, I’m not allowed to use my car! So, I don’t have any choice but to ride a taxi just to reach my destination, the Airport.

I made a promised to my Kuya Caleb that I will fetch him, from his business trip, and I really have to do it. A PROMISE IS A PROMISE.

The plane, where he rode from Japan arrived on time, but I think IT IS REALLY MY DAY! “Damn we’re in a jam! I’m so lucky this day Kuya!” I said it to him, after doing a quick light blow on my forehead.

“I need to be on time. I need to meet h---“ I wasn't able to continue it, because my brother immediately butted in, “HER. SAI right?” With his smirk, is he teasing me? or what? And as if he’s really sure, that it is a girl. The one, that I will be meeting.

“Manong, magshort cut po tayo. Ituturo ko na lang ang mga dadaanan niyo.” he said to the taxi driver.

“Sige po boss.” the driver responded.

“Aabot ka niyan, sabihin mo sinundo mo ako” he told me. I just nodded my head and try to relax myself while looking outside the window. 

After a couple of hours, “Damn! shit! I am already late! What if ---“

“Bro, don't be so pessimistic! trust and sure ako hihintayin ka nun dun!” then he tapped the back of my head. “Relax. I’m telling you, kapag hinintay ka ni Sai, ibig sabihin nun may mangyayaring maganda na sa inyo.” Then smiled.

“What if she doesn’t?” I asked my brother, but never tried to look in his eyes.

“She will. Ayon nga siya oh!” then he pointed Sai. She’s standing in front of our meeting place.

Honestly, even if I am a boy, when I saw her? My heart skipped beating for a while. I don’t know if I got so excited? Edgy. “Pull over here” I said, and I immediately went out of the taxi.

I walked fast to where she’s standing, and saw her, she’s about to go.

So, I held her elbow without hesitation, but still she didn’t even try to look at me. I called her “Sai.”

I don’t know what happened next, all I know is that “I MISS HER SO MUCH” yes! From the day she went to our department and told me about our rendezvous, I am so excited and always looking forward to meet her again.
