Reality Bites Me

"A sent this letter to my mom." Aria said as she showed the girls the letter

"You know it's not your fault, right?" Emily said "It's your dad's mistake. Totally."

"No, it is my fault."

"You did not hook up with her and then ask your kid to cover for you." Lily pointed out

"You and Ali said I should've told my mom right after it happened." Aria said

"Wait Lily and Alison knew?" Emily asked

"Yeah we were with her." Lily explained

"So you and Alison saw this Meredith person?" Spencer asked

"Meredith? Her name's Meredith?" Hanna laughed "Ew. That's not a cute girl name. I'm seeing big pores and mousy roots."

"Hanna, I think it's a little too soon to joke." Spencer said

"I'm sorry. But if you're gonna cheat... ...do it with someone who deep conditions her hair." Hanna shrugged

"Here" Lily passed her a bagel "Put something in your mouth besides your foot."

"I'm sorry, okay?" Hanna said to Aria "Look, all I'm saying is that when my dad left... ...laughing sometimes helped. So did crying."

"My father hasn't left, guys. I mean, this happened over a year ago." The girls all gave each other wary looks at Aria's words "You think he's gonna leave?"

"Look, whatever happens, we're here for you." Emily said

"Thank you, guys, for staying here." Spencer said, suddenly wanting to change the topic "I couldn't have been here alone."

"When's your family getting back?" Lily asked

"This afternoon."

"Aren't you gonna clean off the mirror?" Aria asked and they noticed Spencer's nervous look

"Want me to come with?" Emily offered

"We should all go." Aria said

"You know what? It doesn't take five to clean a mirror, so why don't you four go and I'll just wait here?" Hanna shrugged

"Fine. Okay. You stay down here. Alone." Lily nodded "But make sure you lock the door."

"Right. You spray. I'll wipe." They laughed at Hanna's sudden attitude change but their laughter was cut short by Hanna getting a text which was from A "Well, the creature's back. We should've never unblocked our phones."

"Open the attachment." Lily said and Hanna did, it was a video from last night of the 5 of them staring at Spencer's mirror

"That's us." Aria asked "Was that shot from inside your closet?"

"A was watching us." Spencer said and they nervously made their way up the stairs to Spencer's room. They went towards Spencer's wardrobe and opened the doors, but a bag fell to the floor which made them all scream

"Guys," Lily said and pulled out a lipstick from the bag, "Check it out," she swiped it across the back of her hand and held it up next to the mirror. It was jungle red.

"Okay this is officially too creepy," Hanna shuddered. The girls quickly wiped down the mirror and they all decided to head home
