Bedlam

Waiting for Caleb had taken hours, and the only bright side to it was that the girls finally got a few hours of sleep in Spencer's living room while they waited for him to return. When he had returned unfortunately there was no Hanna and Lily was about to give up hope. Their 24 hours were up so Hanna was surely dead by now

But when the blonde walked through the door wrapped in a blanket, with a terrified look on her face, Lily was simultaneously so relieved her friend was okay, and so afraid for her

Spencer hurried to take Hanna upstairs to shower and get dressed, before the five girls and Caleb sat together in the living room. Toby and Jason had left for work

"Hanna, are you sure you don't want to go to the doctor?" Spencer asked

"I'm sure." she replied, clutching the coffee mug in her hands as if it was about to be snatched from her

"Hanna, I think you should." Aria suggested

"The doctors are gonna ask questions. And then, I'll have to lie. No doctors, no questions." Hanna said

"Hanna, I'm sorry, but you have to tell us about Mary Drake picking you up." Spencer said 

"Is she real?" Hanna asked "I mean, is she really who she says she is?"

"We think so." answered Lily "She was a patient at Radley. We found her file" 

"What?"

"She's Alison's aunt, Charlotte's biological mother." Emily explained

"The DiLaurentis family adopted Charlotte." Aria added

"So it's her." said Hanna "Mary Drake, she's been after us all along. Someone killed her daughter and then she shows up to get even."

"Yeah, we're pretty sure she didn't show up just to get into the resort business." said Caleb

"She must have been chasing me when I got out." whispered Hanna "But why wouldn't she just run me over instead of bringing me here?"

"Because we gave her exactly what she wanted." Ezra explained

"Charlotte's killer?"

"We're convinced it's Alison." said Caleb

"We found evidence." said Aria

Hanna sighed "Spencer, can I have something stronger than coffee in here?"

"Yeah." Spencer said and took the mug from her to refill it with whiskey

There then was a knock at the front door "Oh, that's Mona." said Ezra, who went to open it

"Well, be careful in case it isn't." Spencer suggested and passed Hanna her newly refilled mug

And a moment later Ezra returned alone, but carrying a large bouquet of flowers "Well, there was nobody there, just this."

He placed it down on the counter and Caleb took the note attached to it

"Couldn't have done it without you. Glad we're on the same team. A.D."

Lily had hoped that giving them some hint it might have been Alison would make her feel safer, but somehow she felt more scared than before

And when she fell asleep in Jason's arms that night, she woke up constantly in the night with nightmares about Mary Drake and Hanna being kidnapped, and it was only when she and Jason woke up and made breakfast together that Lily had a sliver of hope their lives could go back to normal

But the moment Jason walked out of the front door for work, Lily's phone buzzed and the message on it made her worry that could never happen again
