Lily confesses

Knowing one of her best friends was going down for what she had done was eating Lily alive. She couldn't sleep for days after Spencer was arrested

Even as she lay with Jason in his bed her heart hammered against her chest as she knew what she had to do next. Lily slipped out of the bed and quietly changed into some clothes. She leaned over to Jason and pressed a kiss on his forehead, a tear rolling down her cheek as she did

Lily made her way out of the apartment and got into her car, driving until she was parked outside of the Rosewood Police station

She shakily walked up the stairs and into the main room, spotting Lieutenant Tanner

"Lily" She said "What are you doing here so late?"

"I need to talk to you" Lily said and followed Tanner into one of the investigation rooms, keeping her eyes away from Gabe in fear she would break down crying if she looked at him

Tanner and her sat down at the table and Lily swallowed nervously "What is this in regard to?"

"Bethany Young" Lily answered and Tanner suddenly looked very interested "I'm the one that killed her"

Gabe watched nervously as Tanner and Lily talked for a long time. But then at the end he watched two officers walk in and place cuffs around her wrists, leading her towards the jail

"Lily!" He called after her but she didn't turn around. This was it for her. 

The prison beds weren't nearly as comfortable as her bed at home. But she felt lighter knowing that what she had done had saved someone innocent from being convicted of this crime, and had probably given Bethany's parents a sense of relief to know that their daughter's killer had been put away

She didn't know how long she was going to be in this lonely cell for, but every second she was felt like an eternity
