Single Fright Female

None of the girls had shown Emily what they had seen in the footage of Maya, they didn't have the heart to do that to her. So instead they chose to stay quiet for a while.

"What is she doing here?" Spencer suddenly asked Aria and Lily. The three of them had been eating lunch together in the courtyard when Spencer said that so the other two brunettes followed her gaze to the corridor where Cece Drake was handing out flyers

"Oh fun," Lily sighed "I come to school and see my boyfriend's ex,"

"Speaking of Jason when is he getting back?" Spencer asked

"Soon," Lily shrugged, Jason hadn't given her a definitive date yet but she was hoping he got back here soon enough because Lily was losing her mind being around Cece on her own

They watched Cece walk off and Spencer got up, grabbing Lily's arm to follow her along. They followed Cece through the building and outside the front stairs

"Cece," Spencer called and the blonde smiled when she saw Spencer but that smile disappeared when she saw Lily next to her

"Lily," Cece frowned at the girl

"Why the fuck are you here?" Lily asked "Are you that desperate to find friends that you're going for the high school kids?"

"No I'm afraid it was you who always went for friends in a different age group," Cece replied harshly "Anyway I'm here because there's my trunk show tonight and I thought I had some help, but I never heard back from you." She said to Spencer 

"That trunk show's tonight?" Spencer asked "Oh, my God, I spaced." 

"Yeah. Yeah, you really did. But don't sweat it, sweetheart. Hopefully there are some other fashionistas in this fleece-loving town that'll skip a kegger for a free belt." Cece said sarcastically 

"I will be there, okay? I promise." Spencer said "And I'll get all my friends to help you."

"Except me of course," Lily added and Cece rolled her eyes

"Thanks." Cece said "I was kinda hoping after that U-Penn favor, I wouldn't have to ask twice." 

"I'm really sorry." 

"Do you have any rich friends I can put in the seats? I really need to rack up some serious cash." Cece looked over Spencer's shoulder and saw Emily and Paige walking into the school lawn together "Whoa. Hold on. Is Emily into her?" 

"Who? Paige? Yeah, they're dating." Spencer replied "Why?" 

"Oh, my God. That is seriously so messed up." Cece said and turned to Lily "And you're okay with her cuddling up to pigskin?"

"Absolutely not," Lily scoffed "I would give anything for that bitch to disappear,"

"Who's pigskin?" Spencer asked

"Her," Cece pointed at Paige "Did you really not know that Ali and Lily had it out for that girl?"

2009

Alison, Lily, Emily, Spencer, Hanna and Aria were gathered in Spencer's bedroom trying on a haul of clothing they had bought that day

"That looks amazing on you, Spencer." Aria said to the Hastings who was wearing a pink tank top "Ali, look at that top." 

"Sweet. I'll trade you." Alison said to Spencer 

"Why?" 

"Oh, come on." Lily scoffed "That's not the part of your bod you wanna advertise. Show off those Hastings' legs."
