Hit and Run, Run, Run

Lily had been the first one to jump into action after the crash. Together she and Emily had pulled Elliot's body of the windscreen and dragged it a few metres deep into the bushes and trees which lined either side of the road

Spencer and Aria had then finally come to their senses, and helped the other two girls dig a hole in the dirt. Meanwhile Hanna and Ali sat motionless by the car, both consumed by shock and no one could blame them

Lily had been the one most determined to get this job done quick, which was a good thing given that Aria, Emily, and Spencer were all sobbing as they began to cover Elliot's body with the dirt they had dug up

"I don't know if I can live with this." Emily was crying "I mean, how can we bury...There has to be another way."

"There is no other way, Emily!" Lily snapped. She was now getting slightly fed up of their crying. Of course she knew her unfortunate experiences surrounding people ending up dead because of her wasn't normal, but they needed to get the crying and emotional display together, otherwise they were bound to be caught and thrown in jail

"It was a well thought-out plan and when it ends up like this it's called first-degree murder." Spencer added. Although she was crying too, Lily was glad at least one of her friends was able to get on with it

"Look, they're right." Aria said through tears "Just come on."

But Emily's quiet sobbing could be heard for a while longer as they continued to dig

"What are we gonna do with them?" Spencer asked, gesturing to the car where the two blondes were sat

"She's in shock. It will wear off." Aria answered, meaning Alison

Lily really hoped it would soon. The past had taught her that whenever they ended up in a situation like this, her friends were quite likely to crack, and if they did that now then they would all end up behind bars

What shocked all of them, was when Hanna walked over a few minutes later ready to help them dig

"Hanna...Maybe you should go wait in the car with Alison." Aria suggested and Lily rolled her eyes

"Seriously, we got it. Just go sit in the car." Emily added

"No, I need to help." Hanna snapped "Okay, because if I don't do something, then..."

"Hanna, if you want to it's still not too late to go to the police." said Aria

"We've been over this, Aria." Spencer snapped

"I know and I still don't know why we can't tell them exactly what happened." she retorted

"Elliott hurt Hanna, abducted Ali and-" 

"-and the car didn't stop in time." She cried

"No one's gonna believe us when we have every reason in the world to have wanted him dead." said Emily

"We need to tell the truth." Aria exclaimed

"Yeah, what truth is that?" scoffed Spencer "The one where Hanna doesn't know the right pedal from the left?"

"Guys!" Lily shouted and they all looked at her "Shut up okay! It doesn't matter whose fault this is or what happened! But unless all of you want to end up in prison, start shovelling and quit crying!"

"Just because you're used to it-"

"I am!" she cried "I am and it sucks! But guess what, I'm the only one right now who has her shit together! I'm trying to stop all our lives being ruined because of this. But if you want yours to be, feel free to cry and go to the police! We have one choice here and it is to make it look like Rollins skipped town."
