Mona Mania

"You guys, I tossed and turned all night." Aria shook her head "I'd wake up from a dream about keep secrets from Ezra, and then I'd fall asleep and I would dream about falsely accusing my dad. Weirdly, both of them ended with my teeth falling out." 

The girls were all gathered in the Brew this morning, last night Hanna, Emily and Spencer had snuck back into the school to try find Ali's diary again but so far there had been nothing. And Aria's dad had also accused them, and specifically Lily, of having something to do with Meredith being caught in the fire at the school's storage shed

"Anxiety dreams." Hanna nodded "In mine, usually there's always a piece of gum in my hair, and I just keep pulling and pulling until I'm bald."

"Mine are more personal." Lily sighed "I'm at my wedding in my dress and as I walk down the aisle, I see Jason at the altar but instead of being there with me, he's kissing Mona,"

"Academic decathlon." Spencer added "I show up to state finals with my underwear on the outside."

"Are you still gunning for team captain?" Aria asked 

"Didn't you hear?" She said "Brad Langfield got into a bike accident. He's gonna need physical therapy. The very grim upside is that I'm running unopposed." Spencer turned to Emily "Are you the only one of us that got sleep?" 

"Are you kidding?" Emily scoffed "After last night?" 

"So everything's gone?" Lily asked 

"Everything but a fake diary." She nodded  

"We've gotta talk to my mom about where my dad actually was that night after he saw Lily and Alison together." Aria said "My teeth actually feel kinda loose right now."

"Hey, ladies." Of course Mona decided to show up too "Losing sleep? Me, too."

Lily sighed and looked to the rest of the girls "Do any of you have a knife? Mine's at home,"

"Nope," Spencer chuckled

"A gun works too, it's less effort," Lily added and they all laughed quietly before Emily looked back at Mona who was still standing there

"What exactly are you talking about?" 

"Remember that creepy Harold guy, from the Lost Woods Motel?" Mona asked 

"What about him?" Aria asked 

"He was at our school, stalking me." She said "He bribed the real custodian so he could have the job."

"Why would he be stalking you?" Spencer asked

"Yeah why would anyone ever want to stalk you?" Lily added "I mean apart from your delightful psychotic tendencies of course,"

Mona rolled her eyes "I used to talk to him once in a while, and he sort of ran with it. When I told him it was inappropriate, he didn't take it so well. And after what happened at the 10k, I told my parents, and we went to the school administration." 

"You think that he rigged that explosion in the shed just to hurt you?" Spencer asked

"Why would anyone go through that much effort for you?" Lily asked "Again, not that your plots to kill everyone aren't very charming,"

"Actually my nest guess behind him was you Lily," Mona replied

"Huh, as if I would be bothered to do that," She laughed "If I wanted to kill you I would do it with a gun, not a whole performance,"

"Anyway," Mona said "I guess the police are looking for him now, but Harold's gone completely off the grid. I really hope they find him soon." 

"You sure it was him?" Hanna asked
