The Kahn Game

"Go talk to her," Lily chuckled as Caleb leaned against the locker next to hers and gazed across the hallway at Hanna

"What would I even say?" He sighed

"I don't know, make something up," Lily shrugged "Just talk to her rather than staring at her like a weirdo,"

"Fine," He said and crossed the busy hallway to talk to his ex-girlfriend, making Lily chuckle quietly once he had left. 

"Hey," Lily turned around and saw Noel Kahn walking over

"Hi, Noel," Lily rolled her eyes, she may be friends with Noel but wherever he went he brought some sort of drama with him

"So," He leaned against her locker "There's a party at mine tonight, you coming?"

"That depends, is your ass of a brother going to be there?" Lily asked

"Yeah," Noel said "But come on, it's never a party unless you're there,"

"Fine," Lily said "I'll be there,"

"Cool," He grinned "See you tonight," Lily smiled as Noel finally left her alone so she could grab her bag and sling it over her shoulder, ready to head to Biology when someone walked into her

"Oh sorry," Paige McCullin apologised, even though she was now dating Emily, she knew Lily would never be her friend no matter how much she tried to make things right

"Watch it pigskin," Lily snapped and shoved past her.

Some people had this expectation that after Alison had disappeared, Lily would be different since she didn't have her partner in crime. But what people hadn't realised was that Lily had been worse than Alison all along

That was something Paige knew, Lily and Ali had tormented her for years before Ali went missing and Paige was terrified that now she was dating Emily, she would have to experience the bullying all over again

Paige seemed like a nice girl when you first met her, but if you knew anything about her at all then you knew she hated Alison and Lily. And now that Alison was gone, Lily was taking over both their roles

At the end of the school day Lily was walking out of the building with Emily who was worried because she felt like lately she had been left out and in truth the other girls had agreed not to tell Emily anything more about Maya's site yet

Emily had suffered so much and gone through a lot, she deserved to be happy but Lily just wished it wasn't with Paige

"Hey. Where's pigskin?" Lily asked rudely 

Emily rolled her eyes, she hadn't ever expected Lily to be nice to Paige but she had hoped she would at least try "Her name is Paige and she headed home. We're gonna meet up later. Look, I know you're not telling me something. I haven't heard an update about Maya's website in a few days. If it even is Maya's. I mean, we always knew that Mona might be playing a trick, and if that's what you guys aren't telling me-" 

"This isn't a trick." Lily cut her off 

"Then what is it?" Emily asked "Do you know?" 

Lily sighed "Caleb found a way around the password. It's this site where Maya kept stuff. Photos, blog entries, videos-"

"Videos of what?" She asked "Of Maya?" 

"And one she took of you." Lily nodded

"How long have you...?" Emily trailed off, not sure how she was feeling about this 

"A few days." Lily shrugged 

"And you kept it from me? She was my girlfriend. How could you keep this from me?" Emily asked in shock that her friends would really lie to her about this
