The Talented Mr Rollins

Now that the girls knew Elliot and Mary Drake were working together, they needed to figure out why so the morning after Emily's venture to Welby, they had all gathered in Hanna's apartment to talk about it

Emily and Lily each filled them in on what they had seen at Welby, so Hanna, Aria, and Emily decided to head there themselves to talk to someone in charge and report an abuse case. Meanwhile Spencer was going to talk to Toby, while Lily was going to try find Mary Drake

Lily drove out to the Lost Woods resort as her first guess, and sure enough she found Mary's van parked outside, so Lily parked hers and stormed up to the front door. She had only just knocked, when it opened again and revealed Mona

"Oh, I was expecting Mary" she said in surprise

"She left an hour ago so I came to go through her stuff." the shorter girl explained "Which is why you're here too I'm guessing"

"Yeah I am" Lily nodded and Mona stepped aside to let her in. It appeared the front room had already been gone through, so Lily let Mona lead her into the room just off it, which Lily instantly recognised as Mona's old lair "Wow, last time we were here it was for a completely different reason"

"Yeah" Mona sighed "I was hiding the truth from everybody."

"Do you ever miss it?" Lily asked as she began to file through the bookcase "Being A? I mean you held so much power back then"

"I guess," Mona said whilst she searched through a trunk on the floor "But running around in a black hoodie and hiding in the dark gets pretty lonely after a while. Especially when I would take that hoodie off and realise I was alone"

"For whatever it's worth, I'm sorry about how I used to treat you" Lily said "Ali and I were awful to you. And you never deserved it"

"Thank you" Mona said "I actually admired you. I wanted to be like you. And I'm glad that after everything I put you through, we've managed to end up on the same team. Right?"

"Yeah" Lily smiled

"Come look at this" Mona said so Lily left her searched and crouched next to Mona on the floor, who was holding a piece of paper, and on it was a long list of names. Some were crossed out so hard they couldn't read them, others with a simple line though, others had question marks next to them, and the rest were left normally

But what surprised them most about this list was some of the names on it

Spencer Hastings ?

Caleb Rivers

Emily Fields

Paige McCullers

Jenna Marshall

Ezra Fitz

Mona Vanderwaal ?

Toby Cavanaugh

Jason Dilaurentis ?

Lily Jackson ?

Melissa Hastings ?

Lucas Gottesman ?

"What is this?" Lily breathed "Some sort of hit list?"

"I think it's a suspect list" Mona answered "That's why Hanna's crossed off. She knows Hanna didn't kill Charlotte so now she's trying to find who is"

"Well whoever took Hanna tortured her badly, so imagine if she gets hold of whoever did kill Charlotte" Lily said, sharing a look with Mona

"They'd be dead in seconds," she replied "And judging by this she's watching us, Lucas, Melissa, Jason, and Spencer"
