Rex has been more busy than ever lately and had a hard time keeping himself awake right when he came to the house because he worked all night to plan things. He ignored it when I asked what the plans are about but it's apparently about someone who's a small threat. I took a shower before changing because of the sweat I had from trainings. I saw Cameron eating lunch alone and just walked up to him after grabbing coffee because I didn't want food.

"Oh. It's you. What's up?" Cameron put his phone down and laughed when he saw my expression. "How is my never ending pain enjoyable for you?" I narrowed my eyes and he laughed harder. "I think your friend gave me the wrong number." He sighed and closed his phone again after checking it. "Who, William?" He nodded and I was genuinely confused. "Show me the number." I said and he handed me his phone after opening it. I knew the last four digits since he used to call me on my old phone. "It's seven five not seven four in the end." I handed it back to him and he raised his eyebrows.

"Oooh." He changed it and I leaned to the table. "What, you guys are buddy's now?" I asked and he grimaced. "Why? Is he straight?" He asked with wide eyes. "Cameron I thought you were straight." I said and he smirked. "Only for you, baby." I rolled my eyes and he laughed. "I'm bi. I'm pretty sure your friend was gay since you guys were able to only stay friends." I nodded and a thought made me put a smile on my face.

Cameron and William. Who would've thought? "I don't need to remind you I'll kick your ass if you break his heart. William is like a brother to me." I warned and Cameron grinned. "I should say the same for you! Rex is like my brother as well." He replied looking uncomfortable and I smirked before I heard shouting and banging. Like a lot of it. "Oooh. Our spy is dead for sure." Cameron said and I narrowed my eyes.

Rex opened his door harshly and walked to the bathroom with blood on his hands. He didn't kill him. Probably gave him a concussion maybe internal bleeding which is fatal so it doesn't make much difference from dying. "He killed the last spy because he suggested Rex should assign you." I raised my eyebrows and bit the inside of my lip. "These guys seem like a threat." Cameron nodded. "They might try to get to you or me. I'm his side men and well... there's a chance that you might be important to him in their eye. Which is correct." I nodded because it made a lot of sense.

"I think you should see him." Cameron muttered and I shook my head. "Pretty sure he'll yell at me for no reason then I'll get mad as well. I'm going to avoid that conflict." I said and Cameron nodded. "I was thinking he wouldn't do that to you. He'd beat my ass if I went up to him and I don't think he'd do that to you. Not even verbally." I realised I made myself bleed when I tasted blood and sighed before getting up. "Alright. But I'm going to beat your ass if he yells at me." I saw Cameron grin before walking to the bathrooms. I didn't wait till Rex was out since everyone there probably evacuated the bathroom when they saw Rex rage like a bull.

He was scrubbing his hands with soap when I walked in. I leaned next to him and he looked up at me. His expression didn't change whatsoever. "I'm not in the mood, Arabella." I narrowed my eyes. "What does that mean?" I said as he grabbed dried his hands. "It means I have work to do and you distract the fuck out of me." I relaxed at that response. "Are you going to fill me in about this work?" I asked and he exhaled aggressively. "No." It's like he was bothered by me. "Why not?" Does he not trust me enough after everything?

"Because you don't fucking need to know about it! I can barely handle this shit myself with Leonardo!" He yelled and I frowned. "Alright. Suit yourself." I walked straight out of the bathroom and warehouse to the street. I don't care if he wants to drive to the house with me. If he doesn't trust me enough, he can go fuck himself! Also what was that attitude? Acting like a fucking baby. I kicked a pebble and heard it hit something. No. Someone. I was backing up slowly till I heard the person bolt and turned around quickly before running as fast as I could.

It was a middle aged muscular man running behind me and I knew damn well he didn't work with Rex. My running came to an end when I saw three black cars lined up and men waiting inside them. I tried to change my direction but failed miserably when the man got a hold of me. I punched him in the face making him stumble when he grasped my arm and threw a harsh kick in the gut. Right when I was about to run again they got a hold of me again. Three fucking people to be exact. "What the fuck!" I started yelling and tried kicking them.

"Make her shut up will you?"I heard the old one mutter and a gun landed in my neck making me pass out.

I woke up in a cell looking room and bolted up when I remembered what got me here. I backed up till I hit the wall and looked at my surroundings. Absolutely nothing. Nowhere I could escape from. I checked the metal to see if I could get out somehow but no luck. "Arabella." I hear someone call my name and backed to the wall again. "You awake sweetie?" I heard a man with a accent. Probably Russian? Fuck I don't know.

"Oh you are. Why aren't you speaking with me?" I did not recognise the man at all. He looked in his mid thirties and obviously muscular. He looked like he could rip the button up he was wearing with one flex. "Who the fuck is 'me'?" I replied and eared a smirk. "You know I didn't think kidnapping the wife thing would work but you cast quiet the spell on him didn't you? He's going absolutely insane to say the least. The amount of threats I received in the last ten hours..." He sighed.

Ten fucking hours? That explains my grumbling stomach and nausea. "It would be smart of you to listen but I highly doubt you will." I said as I sat down. He wasn't going to kill me. He needs me. "I know you from somewhere. Would you mind enlightening me?" I gulped and my throat felt dry. "I'm Kristina's daughter." He raised his eyebrows before smiling. "Oh. So you mean I have another threat?" No, buddy. My mom might even help you.

"Yes." I said before zoning out.

I'm never going to skip lunch ever again.

"Are you afraid of flights, Arabella? We have one early in the morning." He muttered as he checked his phone. "I don't think that matters since I'm probably not going to be able to make it awake to the flight." I said and he slightly laughed. "My apologies. My men will bring your meal momentarily." He smiled before turning around and leaving. Asshole.

His men did bring me meal and I almost ate the plate with it.

I fucking should've known but I was hungry damn it!

My eyes were hazy and I had a hard time keeping them open. I should've known they wouldn't bring me a bomb meal for no reason. I slapped my face and tried to find a way to stay awake but came up with nothing. I guess I should just lay down to not get a concussion was my last thought before I fell asleep on the hard ground.
