"Alright. I got the location, we're just going to check out why they were watching us and who were watching us from the camera." I replayed the plan in my head and drove to the spot. I parked my car a few streets behind and walked to the entrance. "Took you long enough." I almost rolled my eyes at his tone.

"I said five pm. Check your fucking watch." I was here just on time and the jerk tried finding anything to piss me off. He looked off today. He looked at everywhere but my face.

We walked into the club looking place and searched around. "What do we do now?" Rex asked me mockingly. "Why don't you figure that out since I'm the only one who's actually making progress." He clenched his teeth before looking away from me.

"We find the room where they keep shit. Shouldn't be that hard to find." I said again and we walked to the bar. "How about you change spit with the bartender as I check out the back?" I suggested and he narrowed his eyes.

"I have a girlfriend." I smiled bitterly. "That hasn't stopped you before has it?" He grasped my arm as I tried moving away. "What the fuck are you talking about?" He asked, his voice mixed with anger and concern. I sighed and shook off his hand before walking again. "Flirt with her or something." I told him and he finally listened.

I couldn't even watch him fake flirt, it hurt me.

I sneaked into the room and didn't see anything suspicious. "We have a slight issue." I heard Rex and flinched before turning around. He had a man behind him who had a gun against his head.

Uh oh.

"I didn't expect you here this early. I'm not complaining though, it makes me happy when you figure out our leads." Elias came through the door and walked in front of me following behind two buff guards. They got me by the arm.

"Ouch. You fucker!" I said as one of them slightly twisted my arm.

"Hey! No one touches her." He warned the guards and I lost whatever breath I had.

"I'm about to go insane! Who the fuck are you? Why do you care if I get hurt?!" I yelled. Most decisions and options I took in life were based on logic.

Nothing made sense when I tried to figure out Elias!

"Let's just say I care about you. Be my guest for tonight in my warehouse and we'll talk tomorrow." He spoke as his hands curled around my waist and I felt the needle go to my neck, injecting drugs.

That's the last thing I remember.

I woke up in a bed and stretched before getting up. Where's Sheilah she loves sleeping next to me?

Oh yeah, I got kidnapped.

How thrilling.

I was alone in the room and walked to the door to see if it was locked. It wasn't? I looked at both sides like I was about to cross the road and walked to my left because the other way was a dead end. I saw boxes and walked fast. Where's Rex? Did they do anything to him? I shook my head to get rid of the negative thoughts.

The next second I was pulled on the ground with a hand over my mouth.

I almost bit off the hand till I saw his face. I was pulled onto his lap and he removed his hand from my mouth before placing it on my cheek. My mask was probably in the room I left.

I zipped my mouth shut because I didn't want him to hear how heavy my breath was. He still didn't move his hand, in fact started drawing circles on my cheek like he missed touching me. Like he missed me looking at him.

I shook my head again and got up from his lap. I bit my lip and tried focusing on anything else but him. Little did I know that was impossible ever since I left.

"Arabella." I heard his soft tone which made me turn around. His eyes were narrowed like he was trying to figure me out but couldn't decide on anything. "We can't get out of this one. Look." I said leaning back and he took a glance at the hallway.

Elias knows how good we are.

Elias knows how good I am.

"What do we do, go back to the room?" He said with his jaw clenched. Right when I looked again I saw shoes right in front of me. "Elias wants to talk in the morning. It's two am." The guy informed us like we were guests and not kidnapped.

I looked at Rex and he read my mind as usual by bolting at the guy and slamming him on the ground. I grabbed his gun and we started to run forward, Rex quickly following behind.

He pulled me again right when the bullet landed on the wall next to me. I was glued to his chest and his arms were tightly wrapped around me. I wanted to lean onto him but I can't. I won't.

I pushed him away and threw the gun so they can see it. "We can't run." I walked back into the room, fuming. He knew we'd try to escape which is why everyone is still here. "What the fuck are we doing?" Rex came in the room again and spoke angrily. "I don't know." I replied as I crossed my arms and heard the door being locked this time.

"What the fuck do you mean I don't know?! You know this guy." He came in front of me and I had the sudden urge to slap him.

"I don't know him! He knows me somehow, I'm still trying to figure it out. On top of that I need to deal with you!" I pushed his chest and he grasped my hand, making me actually slap him across the face.

"I fucking hate you!" He picked me up and slammed me on the ground before trying to get a hold of my hands. I tried pushing him off knowing damn well the man wouldn't budge. "Get off of me!" I said angrily when he captured my hands and crooked his head to the side. "What is your fucking problem?" He asked when I stared at him angrily.

"You are! You toyed with me! I don't like being taken advantage of Rex. I know what you did. Then almost a year later you have the audacity to show up to my face with your fucking girlfriend. You knew I was Temptress when you spoke with Carmelo, didn't you? Why did you want to see me again? To hurt me more? But I'm not going to let that happen this time, Rex. This time I'll be the one to hurt you." I whispered the last part against his lips.

The lips I loved. The lips that kissed me down exactly the way I craved.

"You fucking left me. I did nothing wrong to you!" It angered me that he was playing dumb. It's not like him. He never lied to me before, straight to my face but that's very expected of him now, isn't it?

I freed my hands and landed a punch on his face before getting on top. He yelled out profanities when I kept going.

He wasn't fighting back.

"Fight me! Fight me, Rex." I said as I leaned closer to his face. He rolled us around again and got a hold of both my hands before placing them on top of my head like he always does. "I'm a man of my word. I told you once that I don't want to hurt you. Something's not right, Arabella and I'm going to find it out soon."
