Arabella's POV

I finally figured the guys current place after a week of deep investigation. Carmelo surprisingly helped me because I was about to lose it.

Remembering him is never good for me.

"Will you take care of it today?" I nodded after petting Sheilah. I put on my boots before speaking again. "I would've done it tomorrow but it's the last day he's giving me." I muttered before tying the laces and grabbed the bag that had my gun in it. It was a good forty minute drive from my apartment and I just wanted to get it over with. The guy was in a large mansion. I could see his head very clearly from this view but I need to get closer. Which means I have to go through that wall. I climbed over it and jumped with ease. There didn't seem to be many men to protect him probably because they were all hiding in their new warehouse.

"Alright." I muttered as I put down my bag and right before I could bring out the gun someone grabbed my hand and twisted. I kicked their leg making them fall with a yell. "Cūnt." I said under my breath as I got on top of the person and punched till he couldn't keep his eyes open anymore. I grabbed my gun hurriedly and aimed at his head. I don't give to shits about a clean body right now, I just need him dead.

Fuck.

I have to take a fucking picture.

I almost slammed the gun on my head from anger. I placed it in my waistband and sneaked into the house after dealing with this guy. I made my way upstairs and the house seemed to be very empty but also elegant. It must be like a house he goes to for vacation maybe? I still don't understand how Rex couldn't find him and that put a smile to my face. This guy knew how to hide well because it's the only thing he knew. Clearly not the fucking lightest.

I aimed from the door and right when I pulled the trigger I heard a noise from behind me. Thank god I got my fucking silencer. I shot him dead before he could make his way upstairs and moved in the room. "Say hi to my mother for me." I smiled before shooting the terrified male and walked next to it.

See.

Easy peasy.

I sent the picture to Cameron and gave myself two minutes to wait for the response. I saw whiskey and poured myself a glass as my phone vibrated.

My job here is done, bitches.

I checked the phone and the unfinished drink dropped from my hand. 'Boss says we need to check the body ourselves. Send the address.' Okay. I'll send the address and just bounce. I sent him the location and ran back to my range rover. I need to hurry.

The Devilman has men everywhere.

'Your payment will be on your account as soon as we check.' I sent him a small response and threw my phone to the passenger seat. Last thing I want is to be any close to his men because they all know me.

I didn't dare to put down my mask as I drove back. I got to my house in a fast phase and leaned on my door after closing it. "Not now baby. Momma needs space." I said after gently pushing her away with my feet. I should've fucking moved to another country.

I checked my phone and threw it to the couch after seeing the money that's been added to my account. My eyes widened when it started ringing. I walked over to it as I tried calming my breath. I answered the phone calmly. "Temptress speaking." I said coldly and heard the inhale coming from the other line. "We've already arranged our plans with the mafia, Temptress. The arrangements were decided into being this afternoon. I hope you haven't made any plans." I exhaled relievedly and cleared my throat.

"I'll be there at two o clock." We agreed on the time after a while of talking and I hung up. I decided taking a shower before wearing my fake leather jeans and a v neck long sleeved shirt. I wore the same boots and didn't bother heavy makeup since I'm going to have the mask on anyway.

I put on red lipstick and my jasmine perfume before wearing my coat.

"How do I look?" I came across with Carmelo on my way out. "Extremely sexy. Would bang. Ten out of ten." I smirked before nudging his shoulder and walking to he elevator. "Wish me luck." I said right before the doors closed and the elevator started moving. I wonder who would agree to work with Harvey. In other words who's as suicidal as me? They must be pretty strong since they even wanted to meet up.

What I've heard about this job is that there's this one really strong leader we need to take down and then call it a day. It didn't seem like a big mission that should involve a whole another gang. But hey, I'm not complaining. More people, less work for me.

I drove to the place which took roughly thirty minutes and parked the car far from the entrance. i put on the mask and walked out with my gun visibly in my waistband. It wasn't the only weapon I carried obviously. I walked to the scanner and it obviously beeped. "I'm going to need that." The guard pointed at the gun and I gave him a blank stare before walking in.

"Hey!" I pulled out the gun when the guy gripped me harshly and pulled the trigger. "Hey hey hey!" I heard a yell and turned around to see a guy I didn't recognise. The guy who tried holding me back was on the ground howling in pain.

"Sorry about that. You can have your gun. Just don't carry it on your hand or with the safety off." The guy seemed like a helper that looked really out of it.

I nodded before starting to walk. "Harvey is talking to the other leader. I'll come and call you in a bit." I nodded again before he walked away and watched people fight. I miss this place. I miss training and using people for my favour. But working alone means less to worry about. I turned my eyes away from the rink when people walked out of his office and I saw the guy walking towards me. I saw a leg that probably belongs to the other lead-

No.

I clutched my shirt in my fist and took a step back.

It's the Devilman.
