"Go in. Get the guy alive or just the information we need." I sighed as I pressed the ice harder on my rib. "I don't have the right clothes," I said before leaning back.

You see, there are a lot of ways to get information out of someone. The most entertaining way is torture but the easiest way is to seduce your way into their brain. Especially if they're not in the right state of mind which is when they're drunk. I don't own seducing clothes because of my mother.

It's the next day and Rex is telling me to find out who the spy in the gang is which is really simple since the other gang leader is a brainless moron for thinking Rex wouldn't find out about this.

"Take Aiden and Cameron to go shopping." He said uninterested. "Alright. But I'll buy more than just a few dresses." I said before walking upstairs to my room. I changed into a skirt instead of my skinny jeans so I wouldn't have problems with trying on clothes.

"Where are they?" I asked as I checked my purse for the new phone Rex gave me. "What the fuck." I heard him mutter and turned at him.

"I'm going with you." He said. "Why?" I asked irritated. I can't deal with his anger issues on top of my own.

"Because I fucking said so. Got a problem?" He asked as he turned around and basically caged me to the wall.

"Rex. Move." I said sounding very shaken up. He narrowed his eyes before moving away. I looked everywhere but him before walking out. I waited for him to lock the door in the car. He came back with a frown but I obviously didn't question it.

"You said you needed dresses." He said annoyedly. "I added that I'll buy more than just a few dresses," I said as I browsed around Victoria's secret. If a bitch asks me if I need help one more time I'm going to lose it.

"Is this for your assignment?" He asked angrily and I shook my head. "I like lingerie." I looked him in the eye. "Why? It's not like other men are gonna see it. Right?" I nodded. "It's because it makes me feel incredibly sexy," I added before his expression dropped and turned... into lust.

"Remove that look off your face. It's not like you're going to see it either." I smiled before turning around. "I like to imagine anyway." He said in a yawn. Usually, I would be insanely uncomfortable but it was Rex who made the comment.

I won't try to deny that he's the best-looking human I've ever come across. About fifty minutes later Rex dragged me out of the mall.

I got dressed and did my makeup really quick before Aiden and Cameron came to pick me up.

"So how's living with Rex?" Cameron asked me. "It's all rainbows and sunshine's." I genuinely smiled and he laughed. "Yeah. I've known him since he was nine. You know it's a shame you guys are engaged." He winked and I raised my eyebrows.

"Why? It's not like you had a chance anyway." I said and Aiden chuckled. "She's ruthless."

"You should watch me fight," I muttered before opening the phone. Rex said that If I'm not out in twenty minutes Cameron and Aiden will step in. I said make it ten. He replied with bet. "I did actually. You almost kicked Rex's ass." I nodded. "I would've won if I wasn't distracted."

"I guess that's why you're not dead yet. No offense but you're not the most obeying or nicest person." I shrugged. "I feel like he needs me for something," I replied. "Leonardo wanted to kill and replace you with Cassandra." I narrowed my eyes.

"She's the daughter of another gang leader but Rex convinced him not to because your mother's gang is better." Damn, right it is. I don't see how Rex didn't replace me.

Cassandra was not as good as me but I knew she workshipped the ground Rex walked on like most girls. They believe Rex will love them and magically start to value people. They're completely off. I'm sure of it because I and Rex aren't that different.

"Alright. You know the drill, I'm sure." I nodded before walking to the club. It wasn't that crowded since it's not the weekend but I still had to shove people to walk past them.

Jeremy Smith. Ginger with brown eyes. lots of tattoos and freckles. I mumbled. I saw him from the corner of my eye and walked to the bar.

Of course, I'm not going to walk up to him. He needs to fall to the trap and I'm the bait. I took out my hair tie and swung my head side to side sensually. An old-ass-looking creep made his way up to me.

"Hello there, gorgeous." I didn't bother looking at him. He obviously doesn't realize but he's helping my case right now.

"I'm not in the mood for creeps." I held my hand in front of him. "Hey don't be like that-" He extended his hand and someone grasped it away before it could touch me.

Checkmate.

"She said she's not in the mood for creeps." Jeremy glared deadly at the guy before he walked away then turned his attention back to me.

"Hopefully you don't think I'm a creep as well." He smiled and I returned it before tucking my hair behind my ear.

"It pisses me off that he even thinks there's a chance, you know?" I said dropping my smile and looking up at the bartender so he could get a good glance at my side profile. He was checking me out from head to toe when I looked back.

I rested my hand on my fist as I leaned closer to him. "My eyes are up here," I said out of breath looking at him in the eye. Then I slowly dropped my eyes to his lips.

Most mafia men are really easy. They'll want to fuck everything with a skirt not caring if they're married. I heard his light laugh before he also looked at my lips.

"You wanna' head to the back door?" I said as I moved my head to the side. "Why not in the rooms?" He asked with his eyes narrowed in confusion.

"You think I'd let anyone make me lay on that bed. It's disgusting." I said leaning forward before sliding off the chair which made me side brush to his chest. "Take it or leave it," I said before walking forward and not looking back. I felt his arm come up to my side as I opened to door.

He pinned me to the wall and right before he could kiss me- "Wait." I hit his chest. "Huh?" He said out of breath. Horn dog.

"I think you're forgetting something," I said sounding seducing. "What?" He smiled and I returned it again. I saw Cameron and Aiden creep up. "This." I grabbed his face and kneed him in where the sun doesn't shine. He fell with a howl.

Cameron and Aiden took care of bringing him to the warehouse. I didn't bother changing my clothes as I walked into the warehouse.

The girls didn't like me here which proved how stupid they truly were. They didn't like that I was engaged with Rex and not them.

"Jobs did." I broke the conversation the blondie was trying to have with Rex by sitting on his desk. I thought he'd be upset but he didn't mind. In fact, he started watching me. "Uh- ... as I was explaining-" Rex cut her off.

"Save it... Melanie. I have business here. Watch who you're talking to." Rex said aggressively as he leaned over me with his hands holding the side of the desk, making his muscles pop. It made my mouth water and he noticed. But chose to ignore it as he gave me back the same look.

"I have the guy," I muttered. "I know." He muttered back. I jumped off the desk and ruined whatever that was. "I'm done then." I started walking out.

"Your duty just began actually."
