"You look fantastique," Elias said in a different accent and I was concerned for his well-being. "I don't know," I said as I walked to my bathroom again to see the dress. It was a red skin-tight dress that hugged my curves perfectly. I look sexy, that's for sure. I walked back and opened my cabinet to pull out Rex's necklace. Elias helped me put it on and I grabbed my stuff before walking out with him.

Harvey was throwing a small invite thing for me. I told him not to but he said it's healthy since he's going to talk to his alibis so I didn't fight him on that. "Gorgeous." Harvey held my hand and squeezed before letting it drop and I got in his car just like everyone else. Apparently, Rex was supposed to be there which excited me the most and I felt like punching myself for admitting it.

Elias held his arm for me and I took it as we walked into the event place. There was a red theme for me since Harvey found out that it's my favorite color somehow. I looked around as Harvey introduced me to people and sighed when I didn't catch a glimpse of him. There was soft music playing in the back, some couples dancing.

Harvey also said he wanted to talk with Rex which was giving me anxiety. "Wow. I should've known it was you." Nick came next to me with a smirk that popped his dimples. "You look bored out of your mind." He pointed at the dance floor and I shook my head. "Don't ask me shit like that if you value your life, Nick." He narrowed his eyes and pouted before leaning to the table. "Why is that? You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met and single." I laughed slightly and looked away from him.

"Keep flirting with me then, Nick. See what happens but don't say I didn't warn you." He crooked his head to the side and watched me carefully. "You invented the red lipstick. I can't take my eyes off of it... If you don't mind." He said slightly raising his eyebrows and I licked my lips before looking away again.

"Your eyes are searching for someone. Don't tell me you have a boyfriend now..." he said in a sigh and looked away for a short second. "I was just searching for Rex Rosetti. No biggie." I shrugged as I took a sip of my drink and Nick's eyes were glued on me. "Oh shit. Nuh-uh. I'm out of here. It was nice seeing you again, Arabella." He said before grabbing my hand and giving it a small kiss. I took a deep breath and saw Carmelo leaning on a table. He looked out of it.

But if Carmelo's here, where's Rex?

A hand wrapped around my waist and pulled me back slightly till I did a full 180. "Re-." He cut me off by kissing me and I wrapped my arms around his neck, not caring that everyone's eyes were on us and that my father was one of those people.

"You look stunning." He said out of breath which made me stumble.

My mouth broke into a smile when I saw his face. "Your mouth is covered in red." I laughed quietly. "Is it sexy?" He asked as he leaned down again. "Very," I said in the same octave and handed him a napkin.

He was wearing a black tux which made my mouth water. A few of his buttons were undone and I wanted to rip it open in front of everyone. He looked stunning. I cleared my throat when he noticed me staring and smirked.

"Why were you late?" I asked trying to change the topic. "Don't fucking remind me." He messed up his nicely done hair and I bit my lip, watching the sight. "Kelly takes really long to get ready. She's basically glued to me 24/7 now. I was thinking maybe you could go all temptress on her." He said calmly as he reached for my hair and placed it behind my ear. He made me shiver when he cupped the side of my neck.

"I'm going to go all Freddy Krueger on her, Rex. I'll be her worst fucking nightmare." I said now my temper rising and he noticed it. "Just don't kill her here. I don't think your father would appreciate and so wouldn't Maria." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "I don't give two shits about Maria-." My sentence was cut off.

"What wouldn't I appreciate?" Harvey came up to us with Elias next to him. I took a deep breath and turned to them but Rex didn't drop his grip on my waist. "Some girl... Just annoys the living out of me and Rex was saying I shouldn't go up and kill her right now." I said and he narrowed his eyes. "That could be arranged for later, Arabella." I nodded to quickly close the topic before I actually leave to find Kelly.

Rex and Harvey only talked about business and I'm glad he didn't say anything else since Rex isn't the guy to be threatened. I pursed my lips and watched the dance floor before closing my eyes tightly. Imagining Rex just grasping my hand and pulling me up there.

There was another hand extended out to me when I opened my eyes. I smiled and took it before leaving Rex's chest. Elias held my back as we walked and wrapped one arm around me when we reached the dance floor. "I don't like talking about business. I like getting down and dirty." I explained why I looked so drained.

"I know, Bella. I'm the same." I smiled at him after spinning. "How is Rex though? We can't really ask him these things but just tell me if he's... abusive." He spits out finally. "You think I'd just let him?" I asked and he shook his head. "I'm just trying to look out for my little sis since I'm not spying on you anymore." He said and I nodded.

"No one looked out for me before Rex," I said and he smiled at me again. "Well, I'd say I'm glad Kristina made you forcefully marry the Devilman but it doesn't sound quite right now does it?" I rolled my eyes as my smile grew. The song stopped and I felt another hand reach my arm and pull me to the side.

"I owe her one," Rex told Elias before the next song came up and wrapped his arm around me. "I'm glad you could tell you owed me a dance without me telling you," I said before he put a cocky smile on his lips.

"I saw how you watched the people on the dance floor when you were having dinner with Carmelo." He admitted and I wish I could put my forehead on his but he was so tall. I'm five eight and a half but still can't reach him. He was dancing like the first day we danced.

Like he was trying to show off to me and outdo me.

That put a smile on my face as I did the same.

"I'm better than you," I said as I looked at him bored. "Hm. Tell me why, all eyes are on me then." He said deeply as he whispered in my ear. "This again, Rex?" I asked as I raised one eyebrow and looked at him seductively. "I jumped off a bridge last time, I'll find something worse to do if you keep going." He raised both eyebrows as he spun me and the next second my chest was glued on his again.

"Yeah, I'm not taking that risk. I'll end up going after someone and then you'll be pissed at me. Not taking that chance." He said and I kissed his cheek since it was basically inviting me. Leaving a lipstick stain.

I didn't expect it but he actually dipped me right before the song ended and stared into my eyes.

Now I wanted nothing more than to be alone with him all night.
