I was about to rush inside the creepy looking warehouse but a hand gripped my arm and pulled me behind them. "You stay behind me." Elias pointed at my chest and I narrowed my eyes.

"I swear, Arabella. You're fucking hurt, don't try anything." I took a sharp breath and nodded as they walked in a fast phase. We didn't bother sneaking in since the place was completely trashed. I could hear the people shouting very clearly and followed up behind Elias.

"Elias clear the left." Harvey said as him and Carmelo walked over to the right. I gripped the gun and watched carefully as we walked. I leaned on a wall and checked inside the room as Elias did the same thing to the other one. "I'm going in." I warned as I raised my eyebrows. "Be careful." Elias said before walking into the room he was standing beside.

I walked in and saw people on the ground everywhere. There was no one I recognised till I heard a voice call out for me. "Right here." I ran to the back of the room and pulled away the pile of bodies. Brock was laying on the ground with his shirt ripped open from a deep cut. It could be infected if she stayed here for long or worse... He could die. I pulled out the first aid box from my jackets large pocket and quickly sanitised the scar as he groaned deeply.

"Where's Rex?" I asked as I pulled out the stitches and checked behind me. Someone could just burst in running as I'm occupied, I can't take my time. "Lorenzo, took him down." My hands froze and my eyes widened as I watched Brock breathlessly. "Downstairs." He corrected himself and I took a deep breath before continuing stitching up the wound. "Don't move alright, I'll tell someone to get you. Don't stretch it." I warned and he nodded. I grabbed the kit again and ran outside. "Arabella." I heard Elias call out to me and ran inside the room he was in.

River was on the ground and I could tell, she won't be leaving this room.

Not alive.

I crouched next to her and examined her wounds, trying to find a way to save her or get some time. "Arabella, you need to go downstairs. They dragged Rex down." She whispered out weekly and the blood on her nose rushed down. "You're dying." I pulled out the box again with shaky hands.

I know I shouldn't have told her that but she already knows.

"I'm already dead. If you want to save Rex, you need to leave immediately." The box dropped from my hands. "Elias, help her and I need you to trust me." I said so he wouldn't follow me. "Cut the bullshit, you're not leaving anywhere." I breathed heavily and bit my lip.

"I have another guy in the other room, I know. You have your own kit, help her as I stitch him up?" I asked and Elias nodded hesitantly. I walked slowly and searched for something I could put behind the door the second I stepped away. I saw ropes tied to someone unconscious so I untied them and grabbed the ropes.

"Brock get up." I helped him up as much as I could since he weighted a lot and walked him next to Elias.

"Just fucking trust me!" I yelled out and slammed the door shut before tying the rope securely and also placed a few more heavy items. I checked my sides to see if there's anyone around me and ran down the hall. I saw the stairs and ran down before calming my breath. I held my chest and took deep breaths.

I made sure to not make any sounds as I walked forward.

"It's such a shame that I'm taking over Demola's but all the crudes are dead." I heard and narrowed my eyes. Lorenzo had Rex alone in the room but Rex was too tired to speak.

His hands were tied upwards so he had to stand up on his feet and there was blood all over his tattooed chest which made me cringe. "That bitch of yours beat the shit out of Maria. First you killed my brother for her and now you want to kill me? What happened to you Elijah, I thought family came before everything." Rex's mouth twitched up as he watched the ground carefully.

"Family is everything. She's my everything." He said as he leaned his head on his shoulder but the smile never left his lips despite the pain he's going through. "Was the pussy worth it?" He said as he sharpened the knife in his hand and I had to remind myself to breathe.

"You might kill me now, Lorenzo. I don't got a problem with that. But just so you know, my girl will come for you." His smile grew till his dimples popped and he looked up to Lorenzo from his eyebrows, head bent forward.

"She's going to kill you and when she does, she won't stop there. I know about your daughter, I know about the woman you found in Italy and married and so does she."

"But do you know what you should've known?" He asked now his teeth flashing and Lorenzo took a step back although Rex was tied.

This Rex scared me too.

"She's already here." Rex said before dropping his head next to his arm again and his smile turned into a smirk.

"Oh really? It's your lucky day then, boy. You'll watch me kill her." I held onto my gun before walking in slowly and Rex raised his head before narrowing his eyes.

Thinking if I'm actually standing in front of him.

I let out a small giggle and bit my lip.

"Hello again." I said as Lorenzo turned around abruptly and his knife dropped from his hand. "I've met your daughter, what was her name again? She refused to speak to me, pretty rude don't you think?" I narrowed my eyes as he gulped and widened his eyes.

"My daughter is in a safe place." I gave him a small smile and nodded after he spoke. "For now." I added to his words and he gritted his teeth.

Thank god I heard Rex mention a daughter and Lorenzo was dumb enough to believe it.

I shot him in the leg as he went for me and he punched the gun away from my hand because I was distracted. He punched my face and I kicked his side making him groan before rolling on top. I wrapped my arms around his throat and watched as he was unable to make up words.

I let go softly as he started coughing harshly and stood up. I grabbed my gun and his knife before cutting the ropes around Rex's hands. "Watch out!" Rex tried yelling out and I ducked as another gun shot was heard.

But it didn't come from Lorenzo.

"I can't believe you." Elias came into the room with Harvey and Carmelo. I continued to cut the ropes and Rex's legs gave out as he fell onto the ground. I managed to embrace the fall by pulling his arm. "We'll take Lorenzo to the car." Rex sat up straight with a grunt and glared at Lorenzo.

"Keep him alive for me." Harvey nodded as they dragged the large man out and I fell to my knees next to Rex.

I let my hands trace over his face and grabbed my phone to open the flash. I watched his pupils and sighed when I made sure his head was okay. Then I saw Rex's shirt in the corner which wasn't actually that bloody. I ran outside and saw a bathroom before wetting it and ran back to Rex.

"Arabella." He held my wrists to stop me and I looked up at him. He had a smile on his face which was still able to look as gorgeous as ever.

He was insanely good looking.

"I need to see your cuts." I said as I tried to pull away but he didn't let me. I placed the wet shirt on his pants and wrapped my arms around his neck. I made sure my hair wasn't suffocating him as I breathed him in. I sobbed uncontrollably and my eyes filled with water before I pulled away. I wiped it off quickly and started cleaning his chest before Harvey's crudes got here.

"I love you, Bella." He said as he rested his head back and the blood loss made him pass out as I cleaned as much as I could of his body.
