LXXII- Are you jealous?

"Rex that's enough." I had the biggest urge to just grab her by the roots of her hair and drag her for as long as my body let me.

Manipulating dumb bitch.

She noticed the looks I was giving her and walked over to Rex's side. She held onto his arm and he shook it off. That calmed me down a little. "Are you Jealous Rex?" I asked and he looked at me. "What did you say?" He challenged me as he got so close, his chest was touching mine as he stared down.

I cocked my head to the side and narrowed my eyes before smirking.

He's getting absolutely pissed and I'm not even trying.

"I asked if you're jealous. You followed me all the way here just because you knew I was here with Carmelo." I said against his lips and felt him shudder when I couldn't help but gasp. He looked down at me with a frown the next second and if looks could kill, I'd be six feet under. I could feel his shoulders tense and he clenched his jaw. His left hand kept forming into a fist. I'm really getting to him.

"Did you get stupid over time? I came here because you're working to find Harvey... Without me." I grinned at him which made him raise his eyebrows. "So you're gonna' follow everything I do to find Harvey because you can't do shit on your own? You're feeding my ego by the second, Rex." I heard a cough and Rex didn't break eye contact with me.

"I got his crudes." He said thinking he's getting to me. "I figured out they were purposely sent to you." I pouted as I mocked him and I could feel his heavy breath on my face.

"We'll see who catches him first." I smiled and nodded at him before he clenched his teeth and left in a rush. The girl followed behind him like a lost puppy.

Why would she be here?

I highly doubt Rex would ask him to be here. How does she keep squeezing herself in our life without Rex realising. I got the controller of the tv and slammed it on the wall. "Oh." Carmelo looked at my face and then started to completely ignore me. "How long do we have to drive?" I asked laying next to him. "Not much, an hour or two probably." I nodded and he turned around.

"If you start snoring again I'll give myself full consent to throw you out the fucking window." I warned and he laughed. "You killing my ear in the car was enough." He turned to look at me offendedly as he placed his hand in his heart and I rolled my eyes. "My voice is fucking sexy. It's okay though, wouldn't expect you to think that way. Not everyone has taste." he emphasised and I turned away from him to fall asleep quickly.

I couldn't fall asleep.

It became a big struggle to fall asleep again since there was no one to chase the nightmares. I fell asleep after hours of turning and Carmelo shook my shoulders to wake me up in the morning, pissing me the fuck off in process. "Five more." I showed him five fingers to sleep some more but he wasn't having it. He picked me up after grabbing the stuff in the room and carried me.

"Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me." I heard a voice that sounded vicious but it made me happy. It calmed me and made me feel safe. I snuggled into Carmelo's chest thinking it's someone else's instead. I flinched when Carmelo placed me in the passenger seat and rubbed my eyes. It would be nice to be able to wash my fucking face before I left. "I'm not going to give instructions if you loose the car." Carmelo told Rex which surprised me.

He's getting too brave for his own good.

I slightly opened my heavy eyes and saw Rex in front of the car with his arms crossed. His eyes softened a little when he saw me then hardened again when he realised I'm openly staring back at him. He's just so beautiful, I can't help it. The girl held onto Rex's bicep and he let her. He just let her.

I looked away and pouted uncontrollably. Pissing him off is very much backfiring on me. "Don't let him get to you. He's only letting her because he knows you're watching, Bella. Look." I turned to the side after Carmelo moved the car and he was right. Rex was letting his anger out, unleashing his fury on the small girl. She looked so fragile but we all know what kind of a person she truly is.

"It just... I don't care usually because I already know why he's doing it but sometimes... I can't control it." I said leaning back and let out the breath I've been holding. I didn't want to see the look on his eyes as he stared at me. I already knew it.

Pathetic little Arabella, couldn't keep the love of her life because of her insecurities.

I barely have self control next to him and when he does that... pisses me off... I clenched my teeth and looked out the window to get lost in the view. It only took a matter of time till I was thinking of my actual favourite view.

I rolled my eyes and turned up the volume of the music softly playing just as a new song came up. I heard Carmelo inhale a deep breath ready to show the capacity of his lungs with the song playing. "Baby I'm a bad boy! I might hurt you-! OW!" I kept a laugh in when he stumbled after I knocked his breath out. "If you don't shut up I might hurt you." I warned and he laughed before leaning back.

"I'll keep pretending that I don't know you're having the time of your life." I rolled my eyes at his smug grin. "I'll let you keep pretending you're funny so your ego doesn't bruise." I smiled back and this time he rolled his eyes and turned back. We were there after an hour and a half and I don't know what to expect.

But it definitely wasn't a underground fighting warehouse.

"I think he sells crudes here." I mumbled to myself as I saw Rex's car pull up. I stared at them as they walked over here. Kelly wearing nothing but a tight crop top that pushed out her chest and shorts. I'm not letting that bother me... She just looks really good.

Rex's type kind of good.

I shook my head slightly as he walked next to me and raised one eyebrow. "When we fist went to the warehouse I saw papers hanging from the small, locked cabinet. I got the files quickly before you could notice and it was about a deal Harvey made with someone called Nick."

"I found the location and decided to not take your slow ass there and chose Carmelo as my partner in crime since he's done more than your whole gang so far." I smiled after explaining and saw his teeth clenched together at the insults. I'm sure he wasn't planning on turning me on when he gave me that look but I was ready to drop my panties when he did.

"Alright then what was your huge plan?" He asked as he crossed his arms. His skin tight shirt was tugging up his v line looking very appealing in the moment. He saw me watching and raised one dark eyebrow.

"You could drag out the guy and take him back to the warehouse." Kelly, who just proved her intellectual levels, suggested and I huffed narcissistically.

"Dragging out a mafia leader from his business with only four people? I'm gonna' give you a participation award on that one and move on." I said as she frowned at me and I could hear Carmelo snicker.

"Meoww." I heard him whisper to me and rolled my eyes.

I'm not going to be in a fucking cat fight with Kelly, ever. Thank god I didn't have actual competition that could become a possible lover to Rex because I'd rather just continue with my life than to fight a bitch like that.

I like to get physical with fighting.

"I'm thinking he sold the crudes he got from the last gang he completely destroyed here. If we talk to the Nick guy we could get information and maybe another location."

"If not, I'm pretty sure your backup is on the way, they could just fuck up the whole place easily and bring the guy back to your place as we try our luck." He had his eyes narrowed as he listened with a small smirk on his mouth. I don't think he even realised that.

He looked at me like how he used to.

Then he cleared his throat and his eyes hardened again, completely shutting me out.

"Let's get going then."
