"Get away from my mother." I heard Kelly's shaky voice and raised my head, moving my gaze away from Maria who was passed out cold underneath me. "Or what?" I asked with a smirk.

"Are you going to shoot me, Kelly?" I pouted as I acted like I was scared. "Will you kill me? But you can't." I crooked my head to the side. "You see, your mother mentioned this before but you seem to forget. I have the devilman wrapped around my fucking finger." I said now my evil smile coming back.

"You're psycho." I shook my head as my smile dropped. "Not psycho. I just don't like to be messed with. I don't like people messing with what's mine and Alina is Rex's family. Rex is my everything." I explained and her face paled completely as I stood up.

"Now hand me the fucking gun and save your mother." I said as I extended my hand and she gave it to me immediately.

I let out a loud laugh.

Then shot her in the leg. "Sorry not sorry, Kelly. You deserve that. It was honestly hilarious how you totally just obeyed me though. What in the world made you believe my words?" She was crying out in pain and I cringed at her face. "Yeah, anyway, have a good one." I said before running to the car.

They were stalling.

"Alina!" I cried out and noticed that my car was broken into. Fuck. I opened the door harshly and pulled Alina into the ground so she could breathe better. "Alina, don't sleep." I smacked her face till she moved it towards me.

"Arabella, please don't break my sons heart again. He might forgive you again... But I won't." She breathed heavily and I took out my phone. There were cut scars and I noticed a knife still attached to her stomach. "Oh my god." She reached out to the knife and I smacked her hand away.

"Rex!" I yelled out into the phone in the middle of nowhere. "Maria-! They did something to Alina, she's hurt." I cried out loudly and sobbed uncontrollably. My eyes filled up with water and I held my breath. "What?!-" I couldn't hear what else he said because Maria was pointing behind me and pulled the phone away from my hand.

"Wha-" I crawled back and realised I left Alina alone, unprotected. But the man was coming for me anyway. "Who are you-?" I asked as he gripped my hair and pulled my head back as a tear left my eye uncontrollably. "You really have your fathers eyes." The man laughed in my face and my expression turned into a frown.

I kicked his leg when he kept staring at me and made him knock down into the ground. I got on top of him and started to punch but the man was strong. He punched my face and I fell back uncontrollably, making him move up. "Rex won't be happy that I hurt his precious doll but I'm just getting started with you, Arabella." I realised the accent swimming in his words and my eyes widened. "Lorenzo." I said viciously and he smiled before knocking me out.

"Arabella!" I heard a voice pick me up from the ground. I feel like I'm lucid dreaming but my head hurts really bad. "Mhm." I mumbled as I clutched the shirt in my hand tightly. "Wake up." He smacked my face lightly but it was enough to piss me off. I tried opening my eyes to tell the person off but my body didn't let me. I felt my head fall back as unconsciousness embraced me again.

Next time I woke up I heard the beeping and narrowed my eyes. My throat was the driest it's ever been and I tried to cough to clear it but it only hurt more. I heard someone get up abruptly and move my hair back. "Bella." I opened my eyes finally and they landed on the chestnut eyed beautiful boy. "Rex?" I responded as he searched my face. I think he was afraid that I didn't remember him. I remembered... Alina.

"Rex! Where's Alina? Is she-." He cupped my mouth and took a deep breath as he squeezed his eyes tightly before opening them back again. "She's in surgery. Are you okay?" He asked as he slowly let go of my mouth.

"I'm thirsty." He handed me a bottle of water and I finished it before he helped me sit up straight. "Doc said you might have memory loss. Temporary or permanently." He sighed as he went his hand through his hair.

"I remember everything." He sighed and rubbed his face before sitting next to me. "Why aren't you waiting for Alina?" He was with me while his mother was in surgery.

"It'll sound bad but that's all I am. I was more worried for you... If you actually forgot me..." He took a deep breath and I bit my lip. I leaned in and kissed him gently before pulling back."You shouldn't worry so much about me." God only knows what'll happen to me tomorrow with Lorenzo in my tail.

"I'll fucking put a match to my world if even one string of you hair gets hurt, Arabella. I don't want to hear it." He said sounding thick and gravelly. I gulped and nodded, not liking the way he sounded towards me.

He grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me in for a rough kiss. He gave me a taste of his demons beside the unbearable worry he's been feeling for me. I kissed him back with the same passion and let his hand move my head to the side to get a better position. "I love you, Rex." I said my voice shaky and thick with emotions.

"Tell me you love me, more Bella. You give me a will to become the strongest I've ever been." I nodded slightly against his forehead and he leaned down to kiss me again and the door opened after a few seconds. I could sense the tension between us.

Both of us wishing we were alone.

"Arabella." Harvey wrapped his arms around me tightly and my arms awkwardly wrapped around him. He pulled back to examine me just like Rex did then pulled away. "Scared the fuck out of me." Elias gave me a sideways hug after seeing my face and how bothered I looked.

"She stays with me." Rex said his voice holding no room to argue as he looked up at Harvey with hostility.

Harvey looked at me, searching for a sign of discomfort but all I did was to glue myself on Rex's arm. Harvey nodded slowly and took a step back.

"As long as she's okay with it, I'm sure you'll take care of her more than anyone." He shrugged as he admitted and I agreed with him completely. I know Harvey and Elias love me but their love will never be anywhere close to what Rex feels for me completely.

"Good." He mumbled before looking down at me and  got up. "I'll speak to the doctors." He said before leaving the room and I felt empty again. I wanted to glue myself to his side again.

"How are you, Arabella?" Harvey said as he moved my hair away from my face and looked down at me. "Rex said I could've lost my memory but I haven't. I just want to get out of here and hear that Alina's okay." I mumbled and Harvey nodded.

'Arabella, please don't break my sons heart again. He might forgive you again... But I won't.'

I wanted to cry now. Rex won't show it but I know how hurt he'll be if something happens to Alina. He chooses not to speak about her because he knows he'll only miss her more.

It genuinely surprised me when he said he was worried about me more than her. But then again, Alina also won't ever feel how much I do for Rex. If she did she would've done anything to stop Leonardo pull Rex into the Demola's. She's weak.

But he has me now and I have him.

It's us against the world forever.
