Rex and Carmelo are both useless as usual.

"Alright. You must know, I was searching for you." I said and he smiled. "Obviously. I saw you at the entrance. How do you think you got in that easy?"

That just proves to me that Kelly is actually completely useless to everyone.

"Follow me to my room." He said and I nodded as he turned around. He was wearing a black suit and looked very handsome carrying it. Not middle aged but definitely older than me. I walked behind him quietly as his men glared at me from the entrance of the room, they did not look happy to see me but who is happy to see me anyway?

The room was small but it had enough space for a dozen people to be comfortable in. He saw me looking around and I sat in his leather couch hesitantly.

"I'm really not looking forward to be drugged today, hope you don't have that in the agenda." He laughed and I raised my eyebrows at how cheerful he was being.

He seems like a fan of me which is very... Odd.

I watched as he walked to the side of the room and grabbed two whiskey glasses and poured alcohol. "That's the last thing I would do to you." He said as he winked and I nodded unsatisfied.

Yeah... Right.

He handed me the glass and I inspected it to see if there's anything in it which made him laugh again. "Take a sip." I handed my glass to him and he grabbed it back before gulping half of it. Alright then.

"I adore you." He muttered as he sat in his seat.

Maybe it wasn't the best idea to come to his room alone without anyone. Just maybe.

"I knew you'd come find me sooner or later. How did you find the contracts again? Harvey said they were safe but I know better now." He said as he also downed his glass before slamming it on the table.

"Went to his old warehouse and saw a locked cabinet with your contracts sticking out slightly. Bashed it open and didn't tell anyone I work with about it." He smirked at me and leaned back to his seat, making the chair let out a disturbing sound.

"I see how you and Rex happened. Everyone was shocked when they heard you stay together after Leonardo. How did it end if you don't mind me asking?" He narrowed his eyes and I looked away. I thought we were supposed to talk about Harvey and not my sob story.

"It's complicated. I left." I said and he widened his eyes. "You left and he still didn't kill you? You really pulled a move on him didn't you? Yeah, whatever. Harvey told me you must be looking for me. What do I pay this visit for?" He said as he leaned forward and interviewed his fingers together,

"I'm looking for Harvey. To kill him." That put a frown on his face but I don't think he was angry. He looked genuinely confused and it annoyed me because I don't know why.

Looks like he knew more about Harvey than me though.

"Do you know how he knows me?" The frown was replaced by amusement and I was ready to jump him when he grinned at me deviously.

"He didn't tell you yet? Oh now this is getting good." I clenched my teeth as I frowned and he noticed before raising his hands.

"Maybe that's why he led you to me. You do know that he talked about you non stop with Elias beside him right?" I narrowed my eyes and crooked my head to the side.

With Elias?

"Him and Elias? Elias is beside Harvey?" I said out of breath. None of this made sense! One moment Elias is so genuine, he takes care of me for no reason and then I hear shit like this!

"They've always worked together obviously. You didn't even know that?" I frowned again and rubbed my forehead.

"But you felt a connection with Harvey didn't you? Maybe related to him unusually or just thought you look like him physically." He huffed as my confusion grew and looked at me with wide eyes.

"Elias is crazy about you. You have no idea how many death and torture threats I received from him if I hurt you in the slightest. That's exactly why I didn't drug you." He said and I gritted my teeth.

"You wanted to hurt me?" He shook his head and smiled.

"Well not physically, emotionally maybe. Do you really thing I'd let a woman like you slip away from my fingers when I have a chance like this? You're sitting in front of me all vulnerable while my men are blowing up my phone because Rosetti is going crazy down there. I would've just taken you  and left immediately." I zipped my mouth shut.

I probably looked very concerning as I looked out the window with a thousand thoughts in my head.

Harvey looks like me? Now I realise that we think exactly the same as him. He likes playing games and so do I. He toys with the other gangs and so would I if I was him.

I could feel the smug smirk on Nick's face as he burned the side of my head. Why won't anyone just tell me who they are?

What are they to me?!

Then a thought popped into my head.

No.

That's impossible. My father is dead and Dean is my brother. But my father never cared about me.

My 'father' pushed me away every time I sneaked out to see him. My mother killed him without a doubt in front of me at the basement.

How could she kill him like that if she loved him?

Now I realise.

I would never kill Rex.

I could never do it unless he actually fucked up big time and supposedly my mother was unconditionally in love with my father but he didn't want her. Dean didn't know me when we met and he was stupid enough to even think of joining us.

He's weak, stupid and fragile just like my father but I'm nothing like that.

It's just not in my blood.

"Do you have anything about Harvey." I asked Nick as he calmly waited for me to think through.

"You look really sexy when you show off your intelligence." He said as he laid his head on his palms as he watched me.

Elias watched me all my life. Why would he do that if he didn't care and didn't know me? My mother kept me as a secret from Harvey because she knew how much I would look up to him and become like him.

No matter how hard she tried, It's in my blood.

"I'll contact Harvey and let him know about your visit. I'm pretty sure you know now." I nodded and the door was kicked suddenly. I got up to open it and Nick followed behind me quietly. Rex had blood splattered on his face beside Carmelo and they both watched me with wide eyes, waiting for me to react but it just didn't happen.

"Thank you." I told Nick since he could've just been a bitch and fuck with me as I spoke to him. He grabbed my hand and placed a kiss.

"I didn't do anything besides give you a lead, gorgeous . I hope to see you again." He said and I took my hand from him before walking past Rex and Carmelo.

"Are you drugged?" Carmelo was in front of my face as he grabbed it and turned it to inspect better. I shook my head away and he dropped his arms.

"Arabella!" I heard Rex's beyond angry yell and turned to look at him. "What the fuck happened?" He was in front of me this time and I just stared at him blankly.

It gave me butterflies to be this close to him again and it felt nice but I felt like throwing up.

I turned back around to Carmelo and walked in front of him before leaning my head in his chest.

"Please bring me back." I muttered as he wrapped one arm around me.
