LXXIX- It's okay

I ducked and pulled his shoes back making him fall when I saw a man walking our way with a gun. I moved up and covered his mouth as the guy walked past before I relaxed. I took my hand and placed both hands in the grass beside him, caging his face.

I couldn't move.

Red didn't seem like he wanted to complain but he did seem like it when I moved back and got up again. I walked past him and kicked the guys back, making him fall loudly and shot him. I took a deep breath before continuing and heard Rex's footsteps behind me. We reached the house and Rex's people took away everyone on their way at the entrance. Julian was locked in a room and I had to think fast to get to him.

"He must be at his office, it's the most protected place." I lied. It's the first place people will look for him. Rex walked past me and I ran to the room I'm sure he was in. I opened the door and closed it behind me before locking it. Julian had pointed a gun at me, how nice.

"Wow. Great welcoming." I muttered as I stood next to the door. "I'm here to help you out." I raised my hands and he relaxed. "Why would you help me out when it involves the Demolas?" He asked and took a step back when I took one forward.

"Well, because..." I walked next to him before kicking the gun away from his hand. I ran and grabbed it before he could and was landed on my back.

But Julian wasn't the one who pulled me.

He tried caging my hands as he always does but I didn't let him. I kneed his groin which made him groan loudly and fall to the side. "You-..." He cut me off by turning me around and placed the gun in my throat.

"Not this again, Rex. You know how it ends." I grabbed my gun tightly in my hand and realised Rex had locked us all in. But Julian wasn't around. "Oh trust me it all ends now." I caught a glimpse of the A tattoo still resting on his finger.

I closed my eyes as I leaned my head back. "Okay." I muttered.

"It's okay, Rex." I said after looking up at him. I'm sure he noticed the reference.

It's okay, I love you.

A large frown replaced his smug look and I stared into his dark brown eyes I loved so much. I heard him take a deep breath before slamming the gun on my head and I passed out.

I was still at the warehouse all alone when I woke up. Rex and the Demolas no where to be found. I dusted off my clothes and just walked outside hurriedly. That fucker left me all alone in here. I checked my pocket and found my phone when I heard it vibrate. "Yeah?" I answered as I ran up the driveway.

"Want me to get you?" I frowned and smacked my head before putting the phone next to my ear. "No, I deserve it." I said reassuring him and heard a chuckle. "I'm coming to get you." I sighed and muttered a few words before hanging up.

I'm going to find Julian first.

I pulled out my phone to make a phone call again then remembered.

I haven't told Carmelo shit.

I called him despite the unbearable headache. "Carmelo?" I asked and heard rustling. "Do I know you?" I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath. "I moved. Big deal. I need your help." I told him and he sighed before closing a door. He probably entered his room. "Alright. I was bored anyway." A large grin made up to my face and I explained to him and asked if he can tell me the information he gets from Rex.

I hung up after some 'are you okay?' Sentimental conversation and stopped walking when I saw the familiar car. I opened the door and sat down in the passenger seat. I leaned my head back and Elias extended me napkins. I frowned then raised one of my eyebrows and he pointed at my head. "You're bleeding." I was? I didn't even feel it. I grabbed some wet wipes as well and looked at the mirror to see the damage.

Could be worse. It doesn't need stitches.

"Rex was there." He nodded eagerly and I saw a small smirk appear before he quickly dropped it. "I've heard. Julian ran away. I also heard that." He said as he looked at me and I leaned back after closing the mirror. I feel embarrassed.

I've never really failed before and almost got Julian this time.

What would Harvey think? Would he just kick me out and get connections with Rex? I'm worthless to Kristina, why the fuck would I mean something to Harvey? I bit my lip and looked down at my hands as I tapped my foot. "I'll find him tomorrow. I'll end the job tomorrow." I told him confidently but I was burning with anger on the inside.

"I know you will, we've already tracked him." He told me and I narrowed my eyes. Why would he tell me if they've tracked him? Alright then, less work for me. We were at the house thirty minutes later and I learned from Carmelo that Rex also has the new location which pissed me off.

So I won't be getting any sleep tonight either.

I wonder what Julian could be doing to save his ass since his men are gone. I excites me to find out. Harvey wasn't around when we entered the house. I went straight to my room and wore a  different pair of jeans and a tank top that was secure around the chest. I placed a few blades on my waistband and walked out after throwing my bag around my shoulder.

"Dinner?" Elias asked as I walked past the kitchen. I stopped and turned around to stare at him. His eyes widened when he noticed that I'm going out again. I received the location from Carmelo. "Where to?" I sighed before checking my watch. "Julian." I said and waved before walking to the door. "You said tomorrow." He still kept talking and followed me to the door.

"I found his location faster than I expected." I explained and walked out into the cold night air. My car was parked in the big garage. How many fucking cars do they have? They all looked brand new as well. I took a dee breath before entering my car and drove off. The new location was two hours away and I was about to kill myself on the fist hour already.

"Fuck." I muttered as I walked out of the car and stretched before grabbing my bag and holding onto my gun. "Juliaan..." I muttered in the street as I walked up to the small family house. I saw Julian asleep on the couch from the window and narrowed my eyes. I had my mask on which means cameras won't be a problem. I walked to the backyard and decided to break down that door. "Knock knock, bitch." I muttered to myself as I walked in and didn't hear anything surprisingly.

How deep was this mans sleep?

I decided to just face time Elias instead of sending a picture.

"Hey, look at this." I said like I was showing him a card collection or something and turned the camera around. "What the fuck, Arabella? Don't wake him up. Get it over with." I rolled my eyes and turned the camera around again. "I just broke the fucking door down and the man didn't even flinch." I said before grabbing my gun and aiming.

I shot him and the loud bang made me shake my phone accidentally. "Ooh, I don't think you want to see him now." I muttered as Elias laughed in the other end. "Just get your ass back to the house. I hope you don't pass out on your way back." I rolled my eyes again and he saw it this time before hanging up.

"Now... We take a picture." I took one and looked at it to see if it was clear. Perfect.

"Hope you enjoy, Rosetti. Kissy face emoji." I think that'll do it.
