Carmelo had to let go of me since I was pulled back. Rex turned me around so Carmelo couldn't see what he was doing. He cupped my face and looked into my eyes to see a sign of being drugged and I let out a quiet sigh.

"What happened?" He asked quietly like it was the silence before the storm and I shrugged. His eyes turned colder than mine as he let go of my face and I started walking to the car as Carmelo followed behind.

When I sat at the back I saw texts from Julian and Elias blow up my phone and Rex just joined.

Elias Idris.

Arabella fucking Idris.

"Do you want to talk?" I shook my head but I knew I had to give a small explanation to Carmelo so he could tell Rex. They'll never leave me alone if I don't. I shut my eyes tightly as I leaned back and Carmelo sighed. I could tell he was tired from all the driving and he could've just asked one of Rex's crudes to drive him back.

I don't know how to approach Harvey. He said I'd trust him soon and I can see why he was overly confident as saying it. He knew I'd find out because I'm smart and would follow his leads. I feel so stupid though.

So so stupid. How could I not see it sooner? Elias being so thoughtful and ignoring my attacks towards him every time we saw each other.

I don't see why he likes Rex. Maybe he knows what happened? I highly doubt it.

Rex. I completely ignored him but I don't care. He should've understood me like he always claims to do. It's Maria for fucks sake, he's like a second mother, why wouldn't my worthless self believe her.

"Nick told me a few things about Harvey. I just... It's best if I leave this deal." I said and Carmelo's looks told me that he wasn't going to push me any further. I wanted to meet up with Julian today to see Elias. I wanted to inspect him just like how he did it to me.

The girl back at the bar wasn't annoyed with him staring at me and now I see why.

We first came by William's house and to my luck, both William and Cameron were home. Cameron probably told people to turn back with Rex's order.

"Hey." Daisy looked bigger now which is scary how fast these things can grow. "Arabella." William was calling me upstairs and Carmelo was waiting at the car for me.

"I just think it's best if she stays here. How will you take her of her and yourself? It's not possible and she really likes us. Especially Cameron." William said with a look in his eyes that told me he's afraid of how I'll react. I don't know why he expected me to yell or get angry when he's saving my ass like that.

"Suit yourself." I replied blankly and he slightly widened his eyes.

"Oh okay. I thought she'd be like a crude." I shook my head and looked out the window when I heard Carmelo's honk.

"Hey, are you okay?" I turned to look at Will again. Concern was all over his face again as I nodded and he sighed.

"I'm going to be okay. As soon as everything's clear." I nodded again before walking past him and he grasped my arm.

"No hug? God damn. Here I thought you were still my best fri-" I shut him up by crushing him into a bear hug and we stayed like that for a while. Not because William wanted to hug.

But because he knew I needed it.

I decided to rest for the day is what I texted Julian. I went back home and took a long shower before sleeping this weekend off.
