Chapter Twenty Three

Brian and Dom stood in the warehouse waiting for Braga and his men to arrive.

The shipment of cargo parked right next to them. Both men knowing that all agents were on stand by. This night was either about to go right or terribly wrong.

"Well, the good news is when we get this guy, you walk out of here a free man." Brian said.

Dom keeps his eyes ahead. "Is that what they told you?"

He nodded. "Yeah, that's the deal."

"So, you still put milk and cookies out for Santa Claus?" Dom asks an obvious question.

"Yeah." Brian said with a scoff.

Even he knew the chance of his people keeping their word on that was very low. But he meant his word to Dom, he wanted to get him and Nicole away from this if he could.

Hearing engines, many cars and a black SUV pull up inside the warehouse.

Reaching behind him, Brian hands Dom a car key. "Here. In case things go shitty. You can grab Nicole and go."

Unfolding his arms, Dom takes the keys. Apart of him couldn't help but remember the last time they were in a situation almost simialr to this.

Dom shoves away the memories as he slides the key in his pocket, eyes focusing back on the cars.

"Just like old times?"

"Yeah." Brian sends him a brief smile.

All of Braga's men and Gisele hopped out of their cars, gathering a few feet away from them.

It was Feinx who continued to stride towards Dom. "This what you wanted, right?"

Campos calls out to him, catching up to get in his way.

Dom walked forward as did Brian, but when Brian saw him ready to take more than need be, he stopped him.

"Dom..."

Feinx and Dom refused to take their glares off of one another.

Campos gets Feinx attention for a brief moment, making the man calm down but not before he sent Dom a warning glance. One, that Dom had no problem returning.

The rest of his crew stood back as they watch Campos approach the two.

Noticing Dom still eyeing down Feix, he speaks. "He's harmless, don't worry about him...and he's real sorry about Letty."

The silent rage in Dom's eyes as he cranes his head down to Campos.

"Where's our stuff?" Campos asks.

Brian shook away his slight unease, he goes over to the crate and opens it up. "You mean the stuff that used to be in here, right?" Campos smirks a bit but Dom saw the hint of anger twitch in his eyes. "Well, you'll see it," Brian closes the crate back up. "When we see Braga and Nicole, that was the deal." He comes back over to join Dom.

Campos nods. "No worries, Braga keeps his word."

Dom continued eyeing Campos, something wasn't right about the guy. He knew to much just to be a right hand man to somebody. When Nicole was on the phone she tried to say something about him, and he was slowly starting to think what—but he had to see 'Braga' for himself to be sure.

A look at the men, Dom sees Gisele but who he didn't see was Nicole with them.

Campos gives them one last look before backing up, he turns around with a signaled twirl of his fingers.
