Chapter 144
"I personally just don't understand why you think I would not be upset?" Tyler looks at the two sitting in the couch in front of him.
Letty sat on the other one across reading a magazine but with an amused smile as she listened.
"Can I speak yet?" Nicole raised her hand.
"No. Put it down."
"Okay." Nicole nods.
"Ah, come on she was just out helping her uncle." Xander leans back. "I was with her majority of the time."
"Is that supposed to make me feel better? To know that of all people she was with you, you psychopath."
"Oh wow, the diagnosis is very unnecessary." Xander scoffs. "Just full of anger aren't we?"
Nicole stands up. "Tyler it's not that serious."
Tyler drags that stern look to her. "At any point you could have been hurt, stressed out, anything. Do you realize that?"
"But I wasn't!" Nicole holds out her arms with a smile. "See look at me, front and back." She gives a turn.
"Seducing him to get out of trouble?" Xander asks. "That's not even fair game, I can't do that."
"She's not out of trouble." Tyler made sure to tell him. "Neither are you. At what point did you think I wouldn't realize you both were gone?"
Nicole pouts in thought. "Umm."
"Until we came back." Xander nodded.
"Mhm!" Nicole agrees.
"How stupid do you two think I am?"
"Now," Xander smirks. "now if I answer that you will want to hit me."
"I want to hit you now."
"See!"
"Nicole, your mother was worried sick." Tyler points back.
Letty shakes her head. "I was fine, just sitting here."
"Okay, well little Brian was worried sick." Tyler hand went to his hips. "He's still shaken up."
"Where's my mommy?" This made them all look back. "Mommy!" Little Brian ran out the kitchen; in his jean overalls and striped little short sleeve, waving his paper. "I'm all done with my car color book. Can I open my new ones uncle Roman got me?"
