Chapter 113
Raven peaked in the room of Mikaela but saw it empty. A pull of her brows until she heard the sound of her voice downstairs.
Taking the stairs down, she seen her daughter sitting on the couch next to Sin.
Forehead pressed into his fingers with his arms propped. Expression blank as ever as he looked at the TV.
Raven almost interrupted when she thought Mikaela was maybe talking his head off but the sound of his voice stopped her.
"So it was the farmer?" Sin motions to the TV.
"Mhm." Mikaela nods
"So what was the point of the ridiculous monster costume?"
"It's a mystery!" Mikaela sighs. "Daddy said every monster is always a human behind a funny looking mask."
"That sounds about Xander." Sin nods, a slight smirk "What do you believe?"
"People are not good looking and need to keep it on."
Raven covers her mouth.
Sin barked out a laugh, he shakes his head. "Got to agree."
"Mikaela." Raven walks in, getting the two attention. "Are you down here talking Sintana's head off?"
"She's fine." He shrugged. "She was talkative until I turned on this Scooby Doo show."
Mikaela head turns. "You were already watching it."
Sin eyes narrow on her. "On second thought, it's her bed time."
Mikaela's jaw dropped to Sin's laugh.
