Chapter Ninety-One
Looking out at the lit up streets of L.A. from the hospital window, Gia's gaze falls down before taking her stare over to the friend that laid in bed asleep.
Wearing her hospital gown, Raven laid on her side with a hand rested over her stomach as the other one acted as another pillow under her head. All her straight her underneath like a silk curtain.
Raven's chest rises and gently falls back down.
A nurse knocks on the door, she walks in the room.
"Just checking in on her."
"She's still sleep." Gia tries her best to smile. "Nothing has changed. Thankfully."
"That's good to hear. Did you want me to get a blanket for you? I know you're probably staying the night again."
"Yes. Thank, you." Gia nods.
"No problem." After checking the monitors, the nurse leaves out of the room.
Sighing, she gets out of the window seat and walks over to her.
Placing a hand over Raven's, she sits at her bedside.
Taking out her phone, she dials a number but it goes right to voicemail.
"This is Cami! Sorry I'm not available to take your call, leave a message and I'll get back to you."
"No she won't!" Raven's voice shouted in the background.
"Shut up, Rave." Camilla hushed her. "Leave a message!"
Gia giggles under her breath, a sad smile pulling on her lips.
The tone went off.
"Hey, Cami." Gia sighs. "This is my tenth message. I know you were out helping, Xander, but we haven't heard from you. I'm worried about you out there. Xander is nowhere to be found, neither is, Nicole. Things are just a mess and Raven's in the hospital, might go into labor any day now. I just wanted to let you know and to check on you." Gia smile drops. "Give me a call back, okay? We love you."
