Chapter Ninety-Six
Walking off the plane, Sin looked at the frozen mass of land ahead.
Shades on, his black pea coat buttoned up with a scarf around his neck.
"Really hate any degrees under sixty." Scoffing, he put his gloves on.
Dom walked over to his Charger with the EMP hooked onto the back.
"Everything inside is setup for you."
Dom said nothing as he closed the door.
"Guess this is the part where we part ways, Toretto."
"You expecting me to wish you luck."
"Come now, even I know better than that." Sin watches Dom walk off to get in the car. "It'll be over after this."
"Now even I know better than that." Dom throws his words back. "You know who your boss is."
"Was."
Dom turns back. "What?"
Sin looks back at him, brows raising over his shades. "What? You shocked."
"You left?"
"I served my time. I stayed for my reasons, and mine alone." Sin nods. "As I said though, I do draw the line at kidnapping a woman's child. Or any death in front of one." He takes something out of his pocket. "Camilla," Dom looks down at the jewelry. "wanted you to have this, so that you will know." Sin hands him a bracelet. "Sh-"
Dom snatched it out of his hand, he yanks Sin by the collar and slammed him up against the car. The shades dropping but the serious expression came back onto his features. Only a slight wince from the pain.
"This funny to you!"
"I didn't laugh, Dominic." Sin eyes Dom who had tears in his eyes. "You can't save everyone. I learned that a long time ago."
"You could have done something."
"Yeah?" Sin brow raised. "Done what? I move to save her in front of Cipher, and were both dead. Who wins then?" Dom tightened his grip. "Innocent people die, all the time. You can't do anything but mourn them."
