Chapter 104
Nicole knocks on the room door. "You done in there?"
"No, no, no!" The little voice calls out.
Nicole chuckles. "Come on, B. I have to put your clothes away." Her head leans on the door. "Little Brian," She sings. "Come on, kid...."
"Okay, I'm done!"
Opening the door, the stripped walls staring back at her. Toys around the room and a little toy shop setup in the corner. A small ladder up to his high-rise bed that his grandfather built for him. With a little nightstand right beside it.
The perfect room for the little troublemaker standing in the center.
Brown curled hair to his shoulders, over sapphire blue eyes. Wearing shorts and stripped t-shirt with a pair of tennis.
"Done!" Brian holds up the paper, showing his little whites as he smiled.
"What are you done with, what's that?" Nicole head tilts, walking over to him. Brian hands it to her as she stoops down. "You drew this?"
"Yes." Brian holds his hands back. "It's your heart."
"My heart, huh?" Nicole smiles at the big heart colored in with red. Her eyes squint at that black part. "Why is this one corner black, B?"
"Papa Dom said you can be really mean so to make this part a little dark."
Nicole glares. "Yet and I bet he never explains where I get it from."
"Do you like it?"
Nicole smiles at him. "Do I?" Those big blue eyes flicker to his mother. Nicole grabs him in a hug making him giggle. "Yes, I do!"
"Those my new shoes!? Mommy are they?" Brian jumps. "I wanna see."
"Okay, okay, hang on." Nicole laughs, he turns around in her arms to look. She opens the box and saw his face light up. "Your favorite color to. The blue ones. Make sure to thank your grandfather for them."
"Papa Dom! I'm coming to thank you!" Brian runs out the room.
Nicole laughs and puts his clothes on the bed for him.
Little Brian runs back. "Mommy!"
"Yea?" Nicole looks over her shoulder amused.
