Bonus Chapter

Brian worked on the car in front of the house. He glanced up at Mia who was with Olivia, Jack, and Letty on the porch talking. The sight of his small family made him smile to himself.

Hearing a car pull up behind him, he was confused until the sight of the Charger caught his eye.

Nicole got out of the passenger side and that smile returned back with no hesitation.

"Drive a little slower with a pregnant woman would you?"

"Didn't you get a speeding ticket last week?"

"I swear Tyler tells everything he shouldn't." Nicole closed the door with a roll of her eyes.

Brian chuckles. "Hey, now what are you two doing here?"

"Somebody wanted to see you."

Brian grins and points to himself. "I was missed. This uncle? Sure you aren't talking about, Roman."

"Ha-ha." Nicole walks over.

A chuckle from him. "Look at you, mom of two walking." Nicole practically rushed over to him and gave a laughing Brian a big hug. "Miss seeing you around all of the time."

Nicole pulls back. "Got good company."

"Can never forget the first of them." Brian held her shoulders. "How's motherhood treating you?"

"Fun and scary." Nicole admits. "Don't always know if I'm doing it right to be honest with you."

"I know you'rere doing just fine." Brian assures her.

"How do you know?"

"Had some good people to teach you the wrongs." Brian refers. "But also the rights."

"I think I take a good portion of the wrongs." Dom says coming over to them.

"Eh, I'm in there too." Brian admits.

"And yet, I wouldn't want it any other way." Nicole tells both of them. "Learned a lot during those times. About myself, and all of you. Apart of me gets it now though, it takes a lot to make sure your child doesn't end up going through what you did. It's scary more so anything."

"Welcome to all the years of your life." Dom says. "And counting."

"I'm grown now, dad."
