Chapter Thirty Two

Walking through the interrogation room, agent, Luke Hobbs took the front with two fellow agents at his sides.

"You caught her where?"

"Fleeing the scene with some group here in New York. She gave up willingly."

"That sounds to easy." Hobbs tells them.

"Maybe the guns pointed at her, had changed her mind."

"Maybe," Hobbs gets to the door. "Maybe not. I only want one of you in here with me. I had to walk up here with both of you, and that was one of the most uncomfortable moments in my life. So one of you, lets go."

The two men looked at each other wide eyed before one just went on inside.

"All you, Cade," his partner nods.

Cade shoots him a glare.

Hobbs walk inside to see the girl sitting at the table. Feet casually propped up with a pouted head rock from side to side, and her hands cuffed behind the chair.

"You wanted, Luke Hobbs, there you go." Cade motions to him.

"I didn't ask for him in particular, I just asked where he was. Two different things."

Hobbs eyes her. "Your a kid?"

"Wow," Both her brows quirk up. "How long did it take for you to figure my age out?" Her brows pull. "I see why you all keep recruiting."

"So your the one that popped up on my radar while looking for the ones who stole our military list."

"You know the point of looking for someone is to eventually find them?" Her head head tilts. "Your doing a bad job."

"I found you,"

"Did you?" She smirks, raising a brow--Hobbs jaw clenched. "Or did I let you,"

"I don't know how good think you are little girl-"

"This, 'little girl', is one step ahead of you. Every single time."

"That what you believe?"

"It's what I know. I was taught well," She shrugs.

"What's your name?" Hobbs asks her.

A shrug of her shoulders. "Well, I was called criminal being dragged in here."

"Don't play dumb." Hobbs warns.

"I guess you would know that considering who you have working for you." Her head nods back to Cade.

Hobbs points. "Lets make this clear,"

"As crystal?"

Hobbs glares, placing his hands on the table. "This is not, wherever your from. Now you are going to tell me your name, and who your working for."

"I don't really remember...."

"Why are you in New York?"

"I always liked the big city, I mean you have so much to see-"

"Cut the b.s." Hobbs stops her.

A knock on the door got their attention. Cade takes the papers from the woman who handed them in.

Reading them over, he looks at the girl. "Got a name for you."

Hobbs leans up. "Oh, it's my lucky day."

"I wouldn't be saying that with the way you look, to be honest with you." A careless shrug, she looks off. "But the self confidence you have is beautiful."
