Xander closes the car door, looking up at the house he once lived but it was never a home. Neither him or Tyler referred to it as that.

"Never thought I'd come back." Tyler says, he looks back to his brother. "Can't believe it still looks the same."

"Yeah," Xander steps up next to him. "Got the care taker to keep it up. Just in case we ever needed to come back."

"Look at you, thinking ahead."

"I have my moments." Xander shrugs it off. "My first instinct was to burn it down."

"I don't blame you." He looks to his watch. "Where's your guy?"

"Should be here soon."

Xander walks up to it. "You know it all makes sense now, what you did."

"Don't know what your talking about."

"Really?" Xander leans on the rail. "So your telling me you pushed everyone away for nothing?"

"I needed to be alone."

"Yet. Here we are." Xander motions around them. Tyler rolls his eyes. "Come on. Spill it."

"You know believe it or not," Tyler head tilts back to look at him. "I did leave to focus on myself."

"You were going down a dark road, you know that..."

Tyler nods. "I know. I just needed that time to myself, realize what I want."

"What is it that you want?"

"Maybe one day, another chance to fix what I broke." Tyler smiles to himself but it drops slow. "While I was out there I realized that I didn't have the same drive as before. It felt wrong being back in that life. Then I figured out why it felt so wrong."

Xander has a seat. "I'm listening."

"I told Nicole years ago before she left with Braga, that I would leave it behind." Tyler recalls the dark memories that never left his mind. "She left with Braga because of me. If she agreed, he would let one of his guys take me to the hospital. I played a part in leading that girl into everything she's in now," Xander watches his brother. "Still, she was able to love me when I couldn't even look at myself the same. Even while she was with you, she could have forgot about me."

"Don't think I didn't try my best either." Xander points.

Tyler rolls his eyes. "Shutup." Xander chuckles. "I wanted her to be the same, and hang onto the Nicole I knew. Somehow knowing what I got her into didn't damage her beyond measure, it would make me feel less guilty. That if she was the same it would mean, what I did, didn't hurt her. But it did, and trying to live with that is harder than I thought it would be."
