—-Sam Wilson—-

My vision goes black as we approach the dome. I suddenly find myself sitting down. My wings and armor are gone but I still have a few small weapons on me, just the things I would carry in  the belt of my suit. I look around wildly trying to take in my current situation. I'm in a car, Steve's here, I look behind me in the back seat and sure enough Bucky's here too as well as Steve's shield propped up in the back seat next to him. Both Steve and Bucky are wearing civilian clothing too. Everyone else is gone. This scene feels familiar so I call it out.

"...well isn't this a blast from the past."

The car is a small Volkswagen Beetle like the one we used during the whole Sokovia Accords ordeal. There's barely enough room in here for the three of us. Having been warned by Sam that this kind of thing was likely to happen we seem to silently reach a mutual agreement to get straight to work figuring the situation out rather than gawking at it. Honestly weirder things have happened to all of us.

Steve begins looking at the map that I assume was strewn out over the dash in front of us before we even appeared here. There's a location circled on it in red ink with -'uncle Rick Turk's house-' written on it. 'Rick Turk why does that name sound familiar...' Bucky speaks up from the back pointing at the name with his mettle finger.

"Isn't that that actor? What was he in..."

Steve nods.

"Yeah I know him he's from that one movie, the one with Mindi Martinez..."

The movie they're talking about clicks in my head.

"Arkon. He played one of the henchmen."

"Yeah Arkon! That was definitely him."

Bucky snaps his fingers as if he's having a realization.

"Wait was he a cast member from the movie premiere Mojo took people from?"

Steve looks at the name again looking deep in thought he comes to a conclusion.

"I think we can assume so, now we have a hostage involved with our current situation which means our mission just got a lot more complicated."

I sigh gesturing to Bucky as I talk.

"Am I seriously about to be in a road trip movie with this guy?"

The guy is my friend but he annoys the shit out of me. Bucky huffs.

"Hey at least you're riding shotgun and not in the cramped back seat. By the way could you move your seat up?"

He already knows the answer to that I need my legroom!

"No. Now let's figure out what the fastest route is to retrieve the hostage so we can be done with this."

"Really Sam? Steve can I drive? Wait no I don't want to, then I'd have to sit next to him."

Bucky reluctantly switches places with Steve's shield scootching over to the seat behind Steve, he shoots me a glare as he does. Cap rolls his eyes at our bickering.

"Am I gonna have to separate you too?"

We answer him in unison.

"Please!"

He sighs putting his head in his hand in annoyance like a parent on a long road trip with their misbehaving kids.

"This is gonna be a long trip."
