—-Peter—-
"Ok Peter here we go."
I try and pump myself up as I ride on top of the armored truck I saw these guys pull Sam into. I don't even know whether or not these guys are the real deal. All I know is Sam didn't do anything to warrant her arrest and the amount of cruelty and violence they were displaying was ridiculous and not at all how they should be apprehending anyone. So I have to get her back and we need to go to Fury to figure this out.
I take one final deep breath then swing my legs into the passenger seat window. To save Sam first I have to stop this truck from going 80 miles per hour down the road. The glass shatters and my feet connect with the passenger's head knocking him unconscious. *‼️* I quickly react listening to my instincts. *BANG* I just manage to smack the gun away from it's aim on me as the driver pulls the trigger.
I quickly web him up then take over in the driver's seat. I stop the vehicle and web down the tires as I run to the back to get Sam. I web as many people down as I can as I search the truck dodging gunfire and fighting officer's hand to hand along the way. I open a door that's latched from outside. Inside is a small figure curled up in the corner.
"Sam?!"
I look at the figure closer as they cower away from me coming to the conclusion that it's definitely Sam. I notice the bracers are still around her wrists there's blood dripping down her arms as if they're cutting her. I'm alarmed to see she's not wearing the clothes she'd been wearing when they grabbed her. I take off my mask and try again in a calmer voice trying to coax Sam into listening to me despite being scared.
"Sam we have to go."
She doesn't respond and just curls herself up more tightly. I approach her and she starts sobbing more heavily and shaking. ...she doesn't recognize me. I've heard of stuff like this happening when people were suffering from severe ptsd. I don't want to scare her more at all but this wasn't the only vehicle in the convoy and more of these people will be here any second.
We need to leave before we're both overrun and trapped here. I replace my mask on my face and step towards her. I know she's really dangerous when she's scared so I web her up and take her with me. I need to get far away from here so the collar she's wearing won't get a signal to shock her.
She tries to fight me as I swing away from the scene struggling against the webbing desperately, I'm actually afraid she'll hurt herself more because of how she's moving her wrists against those bracers and my webbing. I try my best to calm her down I know she's genuinely terrified of me.
"It's ok Sam, I'm sorry I know you're scared."
I realize I don't know where I'm going. I think she needs medical treatment for her wounds... she's covered in blood. But I don't want to scare her any more than necessary and hospitals are one thing she's absolutely terrified of. Maybe it's not as bad as it looks and I can treat her at my apartment... I'll bring her there and clean her up then assess the situation.
I really don't want to have to bring her to a hospital, and if I do it will probably need to be the medical ward at S.H.I.E.L.D nobody else is equipped to handle her when she's scared. Ending up at S.H.I.E.L.D will be even worse for her and she's been through enough today. I hope she snaps out of this, it would make it easier to help her if she understood that I and anyone else trying to help wasn't a threat.
I finally reach my apartment entering through a window so I'm not seen by any nosy neighbors. I stop in my living room. 'Where should I bring her?' ...I can't bring her to the bedroom. Both herself and Loki have been less than willing to talk about what happened to her but the files were available to anyone with my clearance level or above so I know everything S.H.I.E.L.D knows.
