Walking the carpet has been both scary and fun. The reporters seemed more interested in talking about us than about the actual movie premiere. To be fair though neither one of us ever do interviews so this was a rare opportunity for them.

The reporters pointed out something I've subconsciously took note of, the Mark Hamill/Sebastian Stan situation going on with Loki and Tom. I mean wow I can certainly see a huge difference between the two because I'm so close to Loki but I can also see the resemblance no wonder I'm attracted to Tom.

Freaky that that sort of thing just seems to happen ie the aforementioned Sebastian Stan and Mark Hamill example, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem, Jaime Pressly and Margot Robbie, or John Mulaney and Grant Gustin, ...the list goes on. I want to kick myself for never having really thought about it before.

I was really surprised when Tom wanted a picture with Loki wearing his armor. He was obviously uncomfortable with Loki before but now seems to be somewhat of a fan. I'm so happy that happened it'll make Loki's week to know he's been accepted by one more person. As we continue on a reporter asks a question and I suddenly get ten times more nervous than I previously was.

"What circumstances exactly lead to you two getting together?"

Loki looks to me not really sure what to say or if I want to attempt to take the question it's not a short or very family friendly story. I just look down at the ground unsure of what to say. How do I even begin to explain how I ended up at S.H.I.E.L.D that day? After waiting a moment he responds to the question. Tom and the reporter listen to him intently.

"She was... detained by S.H.I.E.L.D after they got her out of a very bad situation and needed medical attention that the staff was... hesitant about trying to give her, I volunteered to help her."

"Why was she detained? What kind of bad situation?"

He looks to me again and I shift uncomfortably I begin fidgeting nervously in anxiety. He takes my hand reassuringly which helps lessen my anxiety a lot.

"She was very confused and scared when they rescued her which caused her to lash out violently at the S.H.I.E.L.D agents sent in to help her there was a fight that ended with her unconscious from her wounds and when she woke up in the medical ward she was still equally terrified and aggressive. It scared the staff and spiked my curiosity. ...the situation she was in prior to her rescue probably isn't a topic your viewers could stomach."

The reporter is stunned into silence by this response for a moment and exchanges a look with his cameraman giving him a signal to cut.

"I'm... I'm so sorry I didn't know it was such a heavy subject. I wouldn't have asked and dug up bad memories."

Surprisingly I find my voice. I'm very timid though.

"It's ok, it's not all a bad memory... it ends with me meeting him."

I gesture to Loki he looks at me with a smile of adoration. I go on still sounding pretty quiet and timid.

"He saved me that day in more than one way. He tended to my wounds and he showed me that it was possible to feel safe again, I know how crazy that sounds that me being confronted with him and his admittedly very intimidating reputation could make me feel safe but... I'd already faced worse and he was nothing but gentle."

I'm surprised I said so much but I guess once I started I had a lot to say. The reporter smiles at me though it's clear they're wondering what I could have possibly gone through that made Loki not very frightening to me. They sound genuinely apologetic with their next statement.

"I'm really sorry but my job here today was to get some upbeat celebrity interviews so I'm going to have to move forward with the questions or with someone else if you're understandably uncomfortable with continuing the interview."

Loki smiles at them softly because of how kindly they've reacted to us going completely off the upbeat track they wanted us on.

"Thank you we will be on our way if you don't mind."

"Not at all thank you for your time."

We continue forward on the carpet Tom doesn't say anything to us about it though I can tell he's trying to find words to show he cares about what he just heard, it's ok I know he does so if he doesn't think of anything I hope he knows I won't be offended.

We finish up with a few more reporters talking to them about far lighter subjects that bring up our spirits then we finally make our way into the theater. Mary Jane and Peter are in the lobby area we hadn't really seen them on the carpet like I thought we would and it's comforting to see a familiar face after being around so many strangers. I call out to Peter as his attention is currently focused on the complementary snack bar.

"Hey Pete!"

He turns and smiles spotting Loki and I. I wave at him being a little silly and over the top. He comes over.

"Hey you two! How was the carpet?"

"It was Stressful, how was it for you?"

"About the same, but it was also fun."

"Yeah I guess it kinda was."

We go on to talk about where our tickets say we're sitting and find out we're sitting in the same row. After grabbing some snacks we head into the actual seating area in the theater. Like the nerd I am I become overwhelmed with excitement as I'm finding my seat, I can't wait to see the Lobster-Man comic book come to life on the screen.
