—-Amora—-
From reading the inscriptions engraved into Mjölnir through the photographs of the weapon Sublime provided me with I could tell my job was going to be quite difficult. Odin himself endowed it with an enchantment. I could not figure out a way to make Mjölnir think Loki's hoar isn't worthy of it for more than an hour at most.
I have however managed to figure out how to make the hammer unable to find her. I'm just finishing up on a few of my own special touches to the bracers that when worn will make Mjölnir blind to the wearer's presence. I barely notice a figure come up to my cell as I work.
"Deadlines now, is it done?"
I add one more rough sharp edge for good measure and look over my work Asgardian, or as they're called on Midgard, Nordic runes cover the metal surface. I gently feel the sharp edge I have running down the inside. It shouldn't kill her so I will not be accused of sabotaging Sublime's new toy but it will cause her quite a bit of pain. Though I still hope the quim somehow bleeds out. I look up from my finished work.
"Yes, It's done. A few things of note, these bracers will keep her from summoning Mjölnir but not from being able to lift it. Make sure she doesn't get the chance to, not even an army of mortals would be enough to take down a skilled wielder of one of Odin's son's weapons. Especially not one once owned by his clear favorite. The bracers will also keep her from channeling any magic. I have one more word of warning with enough time Loki could figure out how to remove the bracers as we are equally matched in skill with magic."
He's probably actually better than I am having spent centuries longer on Asgard studying it but there's no reason to admit that especially not to a mortal. I slide the bracers through the slot nearly slicing my finger on them as I do so. This makes me satisfied with my work.
"Thank you Amora since this worked out so well I've arranged for you to be moved to a more comfortable cell to encourage future cooperation."
I look to Sublime sharply.
"I will not be in your debt."
He meets my eyes.
"They're moving you tomorrow I'm not really giving you a choice."
I huff but he doesn't care he has what he needs. He slips the bracers into a case and walks away. I guess what's done is done, I wouldn't really mind having a nicer place to fight boredom in.
